If you’re anything like me, you’re probably taking advantage of the nicer weather and doing some Spring Cleaning. I love being able to throw the windows open, enjoy a nice breeze, and scrub, mop, and dust away. There’s something renewing and refreshing about a nice clean house during the new season, and it’s oddly satisfying to see all that dust, dirt, and grime accumulated during the winter going the way of the Dodo. 

Anyway, when I clean, I try and use as many Earth-friendly products as possible. From Green Cleaners to homemade concoctions using citrus, vinegar, baking soda, and other natural ingredients, we love finding new ways to clean our home while helping to reduce the toxins in our home, as well as our overall impact on the environment.

Loofah Sponge:

Like that neon yellow sponge with the bright green scrub side. We have a feeling that’s not exactly natural. Unlike our loofah sponge, which shows its true colors: unbleached, undyed white cellulose and tan, scrubby loofah. And it’s totally plant based and compostable, just like the food it cleans up after.

The loofah scrubber is an excellent abrasive, but won’t damage your cookware. The natural characteristics of the loofah also allow it to dispense liquid soap to the scrub site. The Loofah Dishwand is made from recyclable plastic, all natural loofah, and dye-free cellulose. When the loofah sponge scrubber attachment needs to be replaced, the replacement heads are available for refills.

100% Biodegradable. Cleans + Wipes Add water and watch it grow. In nature, if you want things to grow, it takes water. Even the tallest redwood tree needed water to grow to its enormous size. Which is kind of how our Sponge Blossoms work. They’re easy to have hanging around because they’re so darn small and handy. But when you need a sponge, just add water and stand back. Instantly, you’ve got a full-size sponge. It’s like nature on fast forward.

Overall, I am definitely very pleased with our TWIST cleaning experience. These products are tough, durable, and effective. I love that they are biodegradable and made from natural, plant based materials rather than icky plastics. These products help me feel a bit less guilty about my family’s carbon footprint.
