Back to School with Our American Plastic Toys Study 'N Play Desk & Chair Plus GIVEAWAY #Partner 9/15

While my oldest son goes to a brick and mortar, Public school, my 2 younger kids learn here at home. We use the K12 Online Learning Program, and have been doing so for the past 2 years. I really can’t say enough good things about our online school….The teachers and support staff are wonderful, the lesson plans and activities are comprehensive and easy for littles to understand, and there are also tons of face to face opportunities for Sophie and Xander to see and interact with their teachers and classmates. 

Plus, we can do our schoolwork in our pajamas, take breaks whenever we’d like, and our hours aren’t set in stone. Definitely added perks there! 

Anyway, my 6 year old, Xander, is now officially a first grader. To help ease him into a new academic year, we thought he should have his very own workspace. This Study ‘N Play Desk & Chair Set from American Plastic Toys looked like the perfect, space-saving solution! 

This compact and colorful, super easy-to-assemble desk set is the perfect match for the budding preschooler.  Featuring a large writing surface, book and storage spaces on both sides, special compartments for markers, crayons and other art supplies, it offers a complete and compact space for study and play. 

Xander has been loving his new desk and chair, and he really likes the colors. You can’t go wrong with green and blue in my home. The seat is comfy, and there’s plenty of room to read, write, draw, and paint. 

The only problem? Sadly, I don’t think he’s going to be able to fit at his desk for too long. Even though he’s on the smaller side for 6, this desk is a little bit small for him. This would make sense, as it’s designed more for preschool-aged kids. I was hoping he’d still be small enough, and he IS, albeit barely. This would be absolutely perfect for littles between the ages of about 2-4. Xander, sadly, is just a wee bit too big for it. He can still use it, though, for now. 

Overall, we’re definitely impressed with this awesome desk set from American Plastic Toys. It’s durable, well-made, and compact, making it ideal even for smaller spaces like an apartment. It’s also budget-friendly and won’t break the bank!
