When should I sell my Euros?

If you are selling Euros for pounds 2016 has been one of the nest years in the history of the GBPEUR exchange rate. That is not to say that the rate is the best ever in the history, it is not. But the improvements so far since the worst deals of 2016 have been dramatic. Overall nearly 15 cents between the high and the low in 8 weeks! This is the biggest single movement in such a short space of time for the market. What can we expect next for the markets? Well I think if you have Euros to sell for pounds buying sooner rather than later is a very good idea since it would be a real shame to miss out on these fantastic improvements!

GBPEUR is likely to rise longer term as the UK economy remains resilient and the Eurozone comes under pressure. The UK is in for a rough ride with the Brexit worries later this year but I believe much of this uncertainty is priced in at current rates.
