Corsair is the leading manufacturer of high performance products for PC users. Their products have always been focussed at the performance hungry users. They manufacture multiple products like DDR3 memory, flash drives, power supply units, solid state storage drives, headsets, gaming keyboards, gaming mouse and various other products. They have now announced the launch of ultra-fast Flash Voyager GTX flash drives in India. With the increase in multimedia capabilities of current crop of devices, the storage requirements are going up. Not only people need more storage to save their data but also need to carry around data in a portable storage. To provide for that, these drives are available with up to 256 GB of storage and offer transfer rates of up to 450 MB/sec. These drives were announced earlier this year at the Computex.

The Flash Voyager GTX flash drive connects using USB 3.0 interface which allows for these insanely fast transfer rates and it is also compatible with older USB 2.0 ports. It features technologies similar to a SSD drive which means that the performance is retained even after extended heavy usage. It has got SCSI and S.M.A.R.T. monitoring to ensure that even the large data files are transferred at a fast rate without any errors. It doesn’t require any additional software on Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X or Linux and connects instantly like any other flash drive.

The Flash Voyager GTX is offered with 128 GB and 256 GB storage options. The read speeds go up to 450 MB/sec while the write speeds can go up to 350 MB/sec. the high capacity means that you can easily carry around your stuff let it be your entire movie collection or your hard collected music. The Flash Voyager GTX flash drives will be available through their partners and come with a five year warranty. The 128 GB drive is available at a retail price of INR 10,500 and the 256 GB drive comes with a price tag of INR 21,500.
