Micromax Canvas Doodle 4 with Android Lollipop Launched in India

The Canvas Doodle 4, Micromax’s fourth upcoming variant in the Canvas Doodle series is finally now made available on e-commerce website and is priced at Rs. 9,199. Up till now, no formal announcement has been made by the company except its teaser displaying the upcoming launch of the new Micromax Canvas Doodle 4. Nor has this smart phone been listed in the official website of the company.

The e-commerce company that listed the Canvas Doodle 4 was immediately after the claim of a Mumbai based retailer. He said that the handset has been made available in India for purchase and also detailed its features as well as specifications. As per the claims of the retailer, reported on Tuesday, the smart phone is available at a nominal price of Rs. 9,499 while the MRP of the phone is Rs. 9,999.

In the domain of features and functions, this Micromax Canvas Doodle 4 is basically a dual SIM smart phone with GSM which runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop. It is featured with a wide 6 inch IPS display screen and this is the noted point of this smart phone available at this price range. Not only this, the handset has been upgraded with a 540×960 pixels of screen resolution which is contradicting the claims of the Mumbai based retailer of 720×1280 pixel resolution.

Micromax Canvas Doodle 4 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MTK6582M) processor and is combined with 1 GB RAM. It is backed by an in-built internal storage of 8 GB however there are no details on the extendable storage supporting feature. The smart phone sports an auto focus back camera with 8 megapixel resolution and LED flash whereas there is only 2 megapixel camera with fixed foxus front on the front. Canvas Doodle 4 has been packed with a 3000 mAh battery which is 165.5×85.3×8.5mm in measurement. As far as the smart phone’s connectivity is concerned, it is going to have Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, as well as GPS. In addition, the phone also encompasses gravity, light as well as proximity sensors.

It is expected that the Micromax phone Doodle 4 is going to be available with stylus support as like its predecessors. Yet the e-commerce website eBay has not highlighted anything on the stylus of the handset.

The teaser disclosed by the Micromax had a doodle of a flying plane on the facebook page. The doodle has words written on it” it starts with a doodle”. The photo implies that at times just scribbling around randomly also gives rise to new and creative ideas. The company Canvas Doodle 4 Q391 is going to be the fourth in the series and Micromax has initially introduced the canvas Doodle 2 A240, Canvas Doodle A111 as well as Doodle 3 A102.

However, till date the company’s response is still awaited to the rumours floating on the internet. Unless and until Micromax talks over the issues, the report and claims will remain pure speculations only.
