Panasonic Launches Eluga S Mini with 5MP Secondary Camera for Rs. 8,990
The mini version of Panasonic Eluga S, Eluga S Mini has been launched at an attractive price of Rs. 8,990. The selfie oriented dual-sim smartphone packs nice specs, and is ready to hit the market this week itself! Running Android 4.4 KitKat with FIT HOME UI on the top, Eluga S Mini offers a fair deal to smartphone lovers. The device sports a 4.7-inch HD display powered by an octa-core processor of 1.4GHz and 1 gigs of RAM.
The rear camera of this device is an 8 megapixel shooter capable of recording full HD videos at 30 frames per second, and front-facing camera is a 5 megapixel shooter with Blink Play technology for taking brilliant selfies. Flash memory on the device is 8 GB, though storage on this device can be expanded up to 32GB via external microSD card.
On the connectivity front, Eluga S Mini boasts standard features with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G, A-GPS, and micro-USB connectivity. It also supports 21 Indian languages and comes equipped with light sensor, proximity sensor, and accelerometer. Measuring 137.5×68.4×9.45mm, the weight of this device stands around 135 grams, and overall performance is backed by a long-lasting battery of 1980mAh. This week, Eluga S Mini will come in two color variants, Frost White and Shadow Grey.
At the launch, Manish Sharma, the Managing Director of Panasonic India highlighted that the next dimension of Eluga S category, Eluga S Mini has been designed considering the needs of younger generation with innovation, superior build quality, advanced features, and most importantly affordability. The device has been tailor-made for “always-on-the-go college youth”.
The original variant of Eluga S was launched in November 2014 at a price of Rs. 11,190. Panasonic has combined several techniques to make the younger brother Eluga S Mini perfect for budget arena. From camera efficiency to device performance, all elements of this device are simply perfect for budget oriented users. Though, compared to Lenovo A7000 and newly launched Yu Yuphoria, lower RAM might be a trouble!
