Renowned smartphone maker Karbonn has added a new member into Titanium series, Titanium MachFive. The device packs a nice set of specs, and looks like a perfect player to take on the famous Redmi 2 and Canvas Xpress 2. It will be hitting the shelves exclusively via Amazon.in at an enticing price tag of Rs. 5,999.
In terms of specs, Karbonn Titanium MachFive features a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS panel, and has been equipped with an unspecified quad-core chip clocked at a frequency of 1.3GHz, coupled with 2GB of RAM. It runs the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop straight out-of-the box, and features an incredible camera setup with an 8-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front-facing snapper. The front-facing camera of this device has been equipped with an LED flash to capture brilliant selfies under lowlight and daylight conditions. The internal memory of this device is 16GB, and is expandable by up to 32 gigs via external microSD card.
On the connectivity front, the powerful Titanium MachFive features rich support with 3G HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB options. It comes with a 3.5mm audio jack and FM radio for brilliant music experience, and features a bunch of sensors including, infrared sensor, accelerometer, proximity sensor, and ambient light sensors. It measures 143 x 73 x 8.7 mm in dimension, weighs around 159 grams, and is perfectly packed by decent battery of 2200mAh.
At the launch event, Karbonn highlighted the fact that it has launched more than 245 basic phones 110 smartphones since its establishment in 2009. The company has been growing at a great pace, and is planning to invest Rs. 800 crores in mobile production industry in next three years. Karbonn has launched some really powerful devices this year. Last month, it launched Titanium MachOne Plus with SwiftKey keypad integration at Rs. 6,999 in Gold, White, and Blue Black colors, and this month it launched the powerful Titanium MachFive in White with Blue and Champagne colors. Just like, MachOne Plus, swiftkey keypad is preloaded in this device, and gives a perfect ecosystem for swift and glitch free typing. It goes head to head with Xpress 2, and promises decent performance for core-android users.
