According to a Russian website, renowned smartphone maker Sony is expected to unveil the next generation of Xperia M and Xperia C smartphones on coming Monday. Presumed as Xperia C5 Ultra and Xperia M5, both phones are expected to show up with an amazing set of hardware and software specs. The younger sibling Xperia C5 Ultra is speculated to feature a 6-inch full HD display with a sleek and slim design profile, while the elder Xperia M5 has been tipped to feature a smaller screen size but with a complete package of high-end specs.
According to recent leaks, the upcoming Xperia C5 Utra is speculated to sport a 6-inch full HD IPS display, powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6752 chip clocked at 1.7GHz, clubbed with 2 gigs of RAM. It will be running latest iteration of Android, and will pack excellent camera support with a charming 13-megapixel rear and front-facing snapper. The selfie-focused smartphone will serve as a perfect photography tool, and will be producing quality images under daylight and lowlight conditions. Added LTE support and 2930mAh battery will also be a significant highlight of this alluring device.
The upcoming Xperia M5, on the other hand, will also be the biggest surprise of all time. According to leaked specs, the new phone will be packing a classy design language with very impressive specs. Most probably, it will be shipping with an Octa-Core 64-bit MediaTek Helio X10 (MT6795T) chipset clocked at 2.2GHz, coupled with 3GB RAM and PowerVR G6200 graphics. The Android-Lollipop based smartphone will be featuring a 5-inch full HD IPS display, but will pack prolific camera performance with its 21.5-megapixel rear and 13-megapixel front-facing snapper. On the connectivity front, it will pack standard connectivity support with LTE connectivity, and will be backed by a decent battery of 2600mAh.
The launch of these phones is not yet confirmed, but most probably, Xperia C5 Ultra will be hitting the shelves at US$350, while its elder sibling Xperia M5 will come for a price somewhere between $370 and $400. As far as colors are considered, both devices are currently expected to come in standard Black and White Color avatars with some appealing changes design and form factor.
