Instant Notification

In case of distress, Gladio sends SMS alerts, calls, and push notifications to emergency and personal contacts selected by the user. The app gives an easy way to trigger distress messages and alarm by simply pressing the power button 5 consecutive times or tapping on the “Panic Button” on Android Wear.

Use the App and Trigger Different Functionalities

Once you’re registered on Gladio, you can enable different functionalities for notifying personal contacts during emergencies.

For sending the distress messages, you’ll have to configure emergency contacts and press the red “panic button”. Once this button is pressed, your phone will send distress messages, and will also perform other functions including playing loud siren, making calls, and posting on Facebook. If you’re using Android wear, you can enable the “wear option” in app setting, and can tap on the panic button by launching Gladio on your Android wear smartwatch.

The new app performs seamlessly and sends out emergency notifications without any lags or issues. It features an interactive interface, and will also upgrade with new features bringing WhatsApp and Twitter integration, gesture support on Android wear, and periodic messages with updated location.

Soon, it will also get an update for sending user’s location when battery of the phone is about to die and there is no support for charging it back.
