Nexbit Robin Now Available For Preorders in India

The only , Nexbit Robin is now available for Pre-orders in India as well as other markets. The device has been priced at $399, which is approximately Rs. 26,000 in Indian currency, and will cost additional $70 i.e. Rs. 4,600 for getting it shipped to India.

Nextbit, a startup setup created by professionals from Apple, HTC, and Google has given prolific specs to the new Robin smartphone, and has addressed the issue of limited storage space by adding cloud-based storage capabilities. The device offers an ideal ecosystem for non-stop work and play, and backs up unused photographs and data to cloud to free-up internal storage. It ships with 100GB of storage on the cloud.

For funding, Nexbit received a better-than-expected response from investors. As a start-up getting into the cluttered marketplace, the company expected $500,000 in the first phase, but things went pretty well, they got $1,362,344 (roughly Rs. 8.9 crores).

The specifications of Nexbit Robin are also quite impressive. The device looks great in a funky plastic body, and boasts a 5.2-inch full-HD display with 424 pixels per-inch. It promises a great visual experience and powers up by a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor from Qualcomm paired with 3GB of RAM. As for storage, the internal memory has been capped at 32GB, while there is no slot for micro-SD card.

Added to this, the camera setup packed with Nexbit Robin includes a terrific 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front-facing shooter. The device delivers an ideal ecosystem for photography, includes a fingerprint sensor, and powers up by a 2,680mAh battery for long-lasting performance.

On the connectivity front, the single-SIM based device offers standard set of options (Wi-Fi, A-GPS, 3G HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, Bluetooth) along with 4G LTE and USB Type-C reversible connector. The company announced that the phone will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow right-out-of-the box, and will available unlocked for all carriers. Moreover, the bootloader of the device is also unlocked, allowing users to flash their personal favorite ROMs without giving an effect on the warranty of the handset.

Nexbit Robin will ship in two colors avatars, Mint and Midnight. Buyers can also bundle this handset with Nexbit quick charger, bruises, scratches and bumps cases, screen protectors, and other accessories as well.
