Vivo Y21L with 4G VoLTE Launched in India

Right from the beginning of this year, Vivo has produced some spectacular smartphone. The premium phone-making giant has delivered perfectly in the budget segment, and this time, it has unveiled VoLTE enabled Vivo Y21L at an exemplary price tag. The new handset continues exactly from where its predecessor Y21 left off and ships with a strong set of specs and premium design. It boasts an enhanced set of features and is likely to hit the shelves at Rs. 7,490.

Though VoLTE enhances call quality and network strength, you cannot disregard the specs that are on offer with Vivo Y21L. The device makes a decent package and features a 4.5-inch display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. It might not be the best but can still allow a nice viewing experience with vivid colour tones and nice viewing angles.

Vivo has given full attention to the details. The company has deployed Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 410 quad-core SoC with 1GB RAM. It assures sufficient power and handles multi-tasking, 4G access, and moderate gaming quite easily. Some may not like the idea of 1GB RAM, but an effective processor with 16 gigabytes of inbuilt storage and expansion up to 128 gigs certainly makes up for it.

On the software front, Vivo Y21L runs Android Lollipop with Funtouch OS 2.5 on the top. The OS is pretty much snappy and is bundled with Vivo’s Smart Wake and Smart Click technology. Smart Click enables the user to bring up customized features or apps by holding the volume key, while Smart Wake allows the user to launch apps with gestures like Facebook with an “F” and browser with an “E” and music with an “M”.

The 5MP rear and 2MP front-facing shooter also add a lot to this device. It pairs up with Palm and Voice capture capabilities and makes photography a delightful experience for the users. Just wave your palm or say the magic word “Cheese” and company’s smart technology will capture the shots instantly. The camera produces vivid shots in all environments and is backed by a decent 2000 mAh battery that lasts just about an entire day.
