THERE WERE 130 Demonstrations across Syria YESTERDAY Friday
Dara’a. A 13-year-old boy named Hamza al-Khatib was returned to his family having died under torture. The people of Dara’a are up-in-arm about his savage killing. RPS believes that Dara’a is not only the flashpoint of this revolution but also its end. Assad knows it and that is the reason he is making the people of Dara’a pay the highest price for their indulgence with freedom.
Casualties. 12 Syrians died in different parts of the country as the result of using live ammunitions against demonstrators. Also, and according to the National Organization for Human Rights, Mahmoud Abd Rabboh was killed under torture. His body was returned to his next of kin on May 25. Further, 14-year old Mahmoud al-Damrani has vanished and no one knows his whereabouts. Given the regime has buried Syrians in mass graves in Dara’a, it is highly likely he is also in a mass grave.
Detentions. Various cities, towns and districts experienced a heavy toll of illegal detentions. The Washington Post reported that Iran has been helping the Syrian regime using software that detects proxy-based Twitter and Facebook postings. The same software was offered to the Egyptians by a British firm. The detentions have been observed in these regions:

Rally in Lebanon. Lebanese and Syrians who escaped the massacres in Talkalakh are organizing a rally next Friday in support of Syrians who have been detained by the Lebanese security forces. Head of the Lebanese army, Jean Kahwagi, is a pro-Assad supporter.
Where does Erdogan Sit?: His foreign minister supported Assad again and claimed that he would have won a free election if held before the uprising. Really? Bet Rami Makhluf would have been his winning hand. Do they think Assad thinks that they think he will fall for that?
