Hezbollah Fighters Invade Syria Massacre Feared
As many as 7,000 Hezbollah fighters loyal to the Lebanese Shia movement have invaded Syria. This according to General Selim Idriss the head of the Free Syrian Army and are at this time taking part in attacks on the rebel held town of Qusair. This latest escalation in cross border fighting has been condemned by the United States State Department who have demanded their immediate withdrawal from Syria.
Clearly distressed, General Idriss made a traumatic and emotional plea to all Western Powers on a BBC World service program saying “We are dying. Please come and help us.” Seen also as an extremely dangerous escalation by the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva at a hurried emergency meeting they also have condemned the attack on Qusair and warned that the involvement of foreign fighters in Syria must cease. How they intend to stop this is not yet known
