Actual Revolution in Iceland is Taking Place!
Pondering on the “Where’s Snowdo?” situation, I wondered “Why Iceland?”, Iceland was the first place Snowden originally wanted safe haven. One might look at the events below, and be inspired that peaceful solutions can actually exist.

In Iceland, the people made the government resign, essentially after their country was bought out by a bail out. One that was never voted on, or even had special session to decide. Iceland’s primary banks Landsbanki, Kaupthing and Glitnir were nationalized with money from Great Britain and Holland. The establishment’s buy out was rejected by the people and the prime minister brought up on criminal charges for allowing it to happen without consent.

Putin was just in Iceland…
There is no revolution going on here in Iceland at this moment. True, at the time the people in Iceland forced the government to resign and one official was charged in a fiasco trial. Four years later though the same parties are back in charge because their promised to lower peoples dept. (Blows me away how quickly people forget and how easy it is to get them snared again). One of their first actions how ever was to try to pass a law that would lower our revenues from our fisheries and give more money to corporations that hold the right to catch our fish. So basically, give more to the rich and the bill goes back to the people. Thanks to FB, because then over 40k Icelanders signed a petition against it in only two weeks. My guess is that if the newly elected officials in Iceland wont start producing what they promised in last elections, people will be on the streets this fall.
