The Shocking Missing Word That Joel Osteen Has Almost Never Tweeted

Joel Osteen is the pastor of the largest church in America, Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas. His form and likeness appear on magazine covers at the supermarkets, on best-selling books, on board games, and on nearly every talk and interview show on television. He is very active on social media, especially on Twitter where he has logged over 12,000 tweets to over 3 million followers.
So just for fun tonight, I paid a visit to his Twitter account and read through every text for the past year. His most recent text was today, and his oldest, visible text was posted on November 25th, 2013. As I scrolled through his tweets, I made some shocking discoveries for the man referred to as “America’s Pastor”.
In the last year, Joel has tweeted roughly 806 times. He used the word God in a general sense 261 times, he never quoted the bible, and used the words “dream” or “dreams” as in achieving your dreams 66 times.
- Jesus, Christ (2 tweets for Easter) – April 19th
- Christ (1 tweet for Easter) – April 20th
- Jesus (1 tweet as a plug for movie he was promoting “Son Of God) – February 27th
- Scripture Quotes – None
- God – 261 times
- Dream – 47 times
- Dreams – 19
But here was the biggest shocker of them all. The most visible and most popular Christian pastor in America only used the words “Jesus” and “Christ” 2 times each! And 3 of those tweets was because it was Easter, and the other was a plug for a movie!
That means Joel has never tweeted about the redeeming love of Jesus, never tweeted about His shed blood on the cross, never tweeted about Jesus Christ for any reason except to promote a movie. Here are Joel’s only two Jesus tweets:

Joel Osteen’s Twitter account contains no bible, no verses, no gospel, no salvation, and worst of all, no Jesus Christ. The 43,000 people who fill his stadium week should rise up with one voice and demand he begin to preach the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ as the Apostle Paul commanded. And because I am positive that Joel could not, on a bet, find that gospel in the bible, NTEB is providing it here, free of charge, for him:

ElOregonian, you are misquoting the verse and misunderstanding how things work. God lets us know the condition of others’ hearts via discernment, knowledge, wisdom, and understanding. Jesus said “you will know them by their fruits”. When he said “judge not lest ye be judged”, he went on to have an entire conversation. That conversation was about not judging hypocritically. God wants us to judge people righteously; for how else can we know whether or not they are evil? Judging righteously is vanity? That is a wrong JUDGEMENT on your part. A child of God that obeys him is not classified as a sinner. Sinners are people who regularly willfully sin. So, if YOU are a sinner in need of forgiveness, then YOU need to get saved or repent of YOUR wickedness. And stop excusing said wickedness by wrongfully JUDGING that we are all guilty of the same thing.

Smily Joel is not a man of faith, rather he is a feel good man who tells the people what tickles the ears, and people love it. It is a far too common event within the church’s today.

It is crucial that we examine the prophet’s word and match them up with Scripture. If they do not agree 100%, then understand in your heart that you ARE dealing with a bonafide, dyed in the wool, FALSE PROPHET.
Another key to detecting false prophets is their adherence to the Law of God. If they do not keep the Ten Commandments, they are simply not capable of receiving prophetic understanding of the Word let alone visions. In order to receive a vision from on High, one must be a commandment keeping child of the Living God. Do a study in the Bible to find out what happened each time the people or the prophets rejected His Commandments. You will see clear evidence that the visions STOPPED! Keeping the Law is crucial! In fact, this is one of TWO major keys of a child of God. Revelation 12:17 says, “And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.”

Most understand what keeping the Commandments is all about. But what is the “testimony of Jesus Christ?” What does the Bible define it as?

There you have it! More evidence of a true child of God as well as one who understands prophecy. The testimony of Jesus is the gift of prophecy! Of course the most important of the two would have to be keeping the law. For if you do not keep it, the blessings of the Almighty would not be realized, and the prophecies would indeed be closed to you.
