Presbyterian Church And Arab Palestinian Group Rewriting The Bible To Remove References To Israel

(Before It's News)

Have you heard that there is a new version of our Bible? But this version is unlike any prior version of God’s Word

“And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.” Isaiah 2:3 (KJV)

EDITOR’S NOTE: The Palestinian and Sabeel Liberation Theology groups have partnered with the Presbyterian Church in America as their main support for this satanic doctrine. And no wonder, the Presbyterian Church in recent years has become rabidly anti-Israel and ferociously pro-LGBT.

This new version blatantly changes God’s Word. Any mention of Israel – gone. Any mention of Jesus being a Jew – gone. The movement which has brought the world a NEW bible, is called Palestinian Liberation Theology. At its heart is hatred for the Jewish people and for Israel. Of course, keeping in line with this hatred, the leaders of this satanic movement have changed Jesus (Yeshua) from being Jewish to being a Palestinian Arab.

If there is one thing that the bible is, it’s a Jewish book from cover to cover. Jesus Christ is called the King of the Jews.

The Jewishness of Jesus is clearly documented in the Word of God – His Jewish lineage is recorded in the books of Matthew and Luke. But remember, the leaders and teachers of the PLT are reading from a new source – their own bible, hence they have made for themselves a new Jesus.

“And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12 (KJV)

WHO IS NAIM ATEEK?

An Arab Palestinian Anglican priest is at the forefront of this very evil and satanic movement. I wonder, does he really believe this nonsense, or is it in his desperation to bring the Palestinian people into the spotlight, while cursing Israel as the little Satan? Maybe a little of both, but he is definitely a casualty to the Strong Delusion spoken of in God’s Word.

“However, something new does crop up when someone like the Reverend Dr. Naim Stifan Ateek attempts to revise history. Dr. Ateek is an Arab Palestinian Anglican priest and the founder of Sabeel International Ecumenical Liberation Theology Center in Jerusalem. He has rewritten the whole story book in the same manner that Catholic, Anglican and Reformed theologies have claimed that the Christian Church is “The New Israel” also called “The Israel of God.” Rewriting history and inventing theology is a popular vocation. Revisionist historians take liberties with facts until they cease to have meaning. Prime examples are the Holocaust denial polemics or current trends to rewrite American history texts.

The group picture shown here was taken outside the Notre Dame Conference Center in Jerusalem. Twelve delegates from the Presbytery of Philadelphia joined over 200 other delegates from 15 countries to attend Sabeel’s 9th International Conference entitled “The Bible and the Palestine-Israel Conflict”. (Sabeel is an ecumenical center in Jerusalem for Palestinian Liberation Theology that seeks to make the Gospel contextually relevant.) – quoted from their website

Ateek has an axe to grind; he needs to advance his Palestinian agenda by displacing Israel. In an effort to push his version of Christian dogma, he rewrites the Bible and fabricates a formidable sounding contemporary social justice ideology. His personal fish story is born fully formed from the caverns of his own vivid imagination. If it weren’t so dangerous, it would be ludicrous.” [1] source

Another name for this movement is Sabeel Ecumenical Liberation Theology.

“Sabeel (Arabic ‘the way’ and also ‘a channel’ or ‘spring’) Ecumenical Liberation Theology Center is a Christian liberation theology organization based in Jerusalem. It was founded by Palestinian Anglican priest, Rev. Naim Ateek, the former Canon of St. George’s Cathedral in Jerusalem. An official partner of the Presbyterian Church USA, Sabeel has Friends of Sabeel chapters in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Ireland, France, Germany, the Netherlands and Australia.” source

Should it really surprise us that the Presbyterian church is a partner in this? I’m not surprised at all. The other mainline churches who have jumped on this heretical bandwagon are: Episcopalian, Methodist, Lutheran and even some Evangelical churches in the U.S. have followed suit. I wonder when the Vatican will thrown in their hat?

Brethren, these things sound and indeed are so incredibly evil. But as followers of Yeshua, we should be rejoicing! YES, REJOICE!

God’s Prophetic Word is being fulfilled at breakneck speed! That means that we are close to His Glorious appearing, to take us away from this horrid place! Hallelujah!!

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28 (KJV)

Which Presbyterian denomination does this article refer to, since there are a number of conservative and liberal groups going under various presbyterian monikers?

    • jknbt

replacement theology has been around since before the time of calvin and knox. all presby denominations have this doctrine at their theological roots….

  • The Watcher

ALL RELIGIONS ARE FALSE AND SHOULD BE DESTROYED! WE ARE NOT IN THE END TIMES! THERE IS NOT GOING TO BE A RAPTURE! GOD OR JESUS IS NOT GOING TO SAVE ANYONE! THERE IS NO SATAN OR ANTICHRIST! THERE IS NO GOOD OR BAD! EVERYBODY GOES TO HEAVEN TO BE WITH GOD! DO AS YOU WILL, WITHOUT ANY FEAR OF ANY JUDGEMENT! THIS IS THE TRUTH! HANDLE IT!

If you destroy what I believe in then what makes you think no one will destroy what you believe in? It is all about freedom.

      • plsnogod

the problem, carol,is this. religions prompt people to kill others.

nobody has ridden into battle crying ‘c’mon lads, lets do this for atheism’!!!

    • plsnogod

please stop shouting and spamming the same guff incontinently.

the site would be a better place.

the presby’s have also long championed post-millennialism…they still won’t admit they are wrong on that one….they are sure that the world is going to get better and better until they can present a perfect jewel of a planet to Jesus when he comes back…..nope, that doesn’t seem to be working out that way….rather than admit they are wrong, they just kind of ignore the whole topics of the rapture, tribulation, and second coming.

also they believe in replacement theology. that is what this article is all about…that was the standard protestant doctrine about the jews, at least until 1948. it says that God has completely cast off and rejected the jews as the people of God, and that now the church is the kingdom of God on earth, the true israel. They claim all of the promises of the favor of God that will come on israel and the jews in the last days. Funny how they do not claim the curses, warnings, judgments, wrath and other scary things concerning israel.

the presby’s are not alone. this is standard, but rarely preached doctrine, for the methodists, anglicans, episcopals, catholics, and many others.

for this to be true, GOD WOULD HAVE TO BE A COVENANT BREAKER AND A LIAR. He made unbreakable covenants to abraham, issac, & jacob. they will stand whether the jews are faithful or not.

God is not a covenant breaker or a liar. Paul warns in Romans that the gentiles should be careful that they too are not cut off from the tree of life through unbelief. Looks like God has some gardening work to do trimming the presbyterian part of his tree.

If there is one thing that the bible is, it’s a Jewish book from cover to cover. Jesus Christ is called the King of the Jews. ——-False ! The sign”king of the Jews was mocking Jesus.”

During His lifetime, no persons were described as “Jews” anywhere. That fact is supported by theology, history and science. When Jesus was in Judea, it was not the “homeland” of the ancestors of those who today style themselves “Jews”. Their ancestors never set a foot in Judea. They existed at that time in Asia, their “homeland”, and were known as Khazars. In neither of the manuscripts of the original Old or New Testament was Jesus described or referred to as a “Jew”, just as the term “Texan” signifies a person living in Texas.

The religious sect in Judea, in the time of Jesus, to which self-styled “Jews” today refer to as “Jews”, were known as “Pharisees”. “Judaism” today and “Pharisaism” in the time of Jesus are the same.

Jesus abhorred and denounced “Pharisaism”; hence the words, “Woe unto you Scribes and Pharisees, Hypocrites, Ye Serpents, Ye Generation of Vipers”.

I’ve several points here. One, who gave this website authority to judge what is the “right” version of scripture? Do you translate ancient Greek and Hebrew into our modern languages? Two, how many times is the so called rapture mentioned in Revelation? Third, Matthew is making a specific point with his lineage. If you look at the old testament then at the matthew lineage there are some names missing from matthew’s version. Matthew purposely removes a few Jewish Kings and highlights several gentiles that are in Jesus’ line. Why does matthew do this? In order to highlight that the promises of God are not exclusive to one nationality, but have now been extended through Jesus. Lets not forget what Paul says in the letter to the Galations: “There is neither Jew nor Gentile. ” Fourth, one of the top articles on this site is about poop so I’m having a hard time taking this website seriously . Fifth, I feel like I’m probably getting a virus on my computer from just being here.

This is what Ateek is talking about.

By the way the above link is to a very popular website run by Jewish editors who for the most part agree with Ateek about Palestine.

Looks like what is said in Galations 1:6-8

who cares what is scribbled in a fantasy book?

you will find more truth in ‘the lord of the rings’.

  • plsnogod

    are you insane?

the bible or koran or hindu scriptures are NOT history books.

there’s no evidence for any gods, never has been.they are made up by mankind.

    please just look at history.

every deity has it’s supporters, all believing that their god is ‘the one’.

in the past, with limited education, this is understandable.

in today’s third world indoctrinated societies, this is understandable.

however in a modern, open and educated society,to believe in an idol is unforgivable.

sing to an invisible man in the sky if you wish.

however,we should be better than that.

sometimes i am ashamed of my species.
