The Ugly American: 18 Times Obama Trashed America While Speaking in Asia

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

What is it about traveling abroad that seems to encourage President Obama to unload all manner of grievances on the United States?

For whatever reason, traveling abroad appears to help crystallize everything wrong he sees in America. During his recent trips to China and Laos, for example, we counted 18 separate times he talked down his employer, the United States of America.

18 Times Obama Trashed America While Speaking In Asia:

Here are 18 separate attacks he unloaded while in China and Laos:

  1. There are still too many poor children in the United States
  2. Too many children in America are not getting enough to eat
  3. Despite America’s wealth, we’re not providing sufficient educational resources in poor communities
  4. America lacks the “political will” to help poor inner cities that have suffered discrimination.
  5. Americans are “lazy” in thinking we don’t need to learn about foreign nations.
  6. Colin Kaepernick is justified protesting the National Anthem, as the NFL star is raising “real, legitimate issues” about things America needs to be talked about.
  7. America suffers from racism, conflicts between ethnic groups, and discrimination against immigrants.
  8. Criticisms of America being imperfect and having problems with racism discrimination are accurate.
  9. America still has “situations where women are not treated equally.”
  10. America “didn’t think through” our policy in Vietnam War, as dropping cluster bombs proved counterproductive to “winning hearts and minds.”
  11. America’s treatment of Native Americans was “tragic.”
  12. America “struggled to stay true” to our founding ideal that all men are created equal.
  13. When the environment is destroyed in America, it’s because the private sector is being “lazy.”
  14. The United States is still to this day learning how to develop industry without destroying the environment.
  15. Due to industrialization, America “used to have terrible pollution … everywhere.”
  16. America’s role in the Vietnam war led to mass displacement of people from their homes.
  17. America dropped more bombs on Laos than on Germany and Japan during World War II … more than 2 million bombs … “the bombs fell like rain.” More bombs, he said on several occasions, were dropped on Laos per capita than anywhere else in the world.
  18. We bombed the “simple homes” of civilians in Laos. “Villages and entire allies were obliterated.” The ancient Plain of Jars “was devastated.” Countless civilians were killed.

      I’m not convinced.
I don’t like Obama, and will never vote for anyone but white men who are well educated.

But when the dude speaks the truth, he speaks the truth. Whether I like him or not.

And it seems to me that a great many of his points are spot on.
The only points I disagree with are the ones about racism and equality, which he seems to be quite misinformed about and seems to simply play to the media with and say what he thinks people expect to hear.

      • FraMar

Yes, he speaks the truth except that he does not admit that HE is responsible for many of the issues, and has done nothing to resolve them in the over 7 years under his watch.

What benefit is there to America that he brings up history like the Viet Nam/Laos conflicts? It seems to me he deliberately is trying to stir up more hatred of America, but for what purpose? Oh, yeah, to forward the cause of eliminating America and move toward a single world government and a NWO.

Everything that seemingly is unbelievable makes perfect sense, if you look at it through the eyes of the NWO and Agenda 21/2030. Even Agenda 21 includes mostly highly beneficial goals that would be needed to save the planet. The only problem is that most people really don’t want to be part of the 95% to be “depopulated”.

his remarks are also believed by many americans, lots of americans that for the most part keep their opinions to themselves in order to avoid senseless confrontations with uneducated illinformed thugs and hypocrites

      • Rockledge

His remarks are exactly on about the Vietnam fiasco. I am an old dude and remember all of that quite vividly, and there are few who don’t look back on it as being a horrendous blunder.
Even the soldiers who returned from there now nearly unanimously agree that it was a huge mistake from start to finish, apparently including general Westmoreland.

All the Presidents from Eisenhower through Nixon made very bad decisions concerning it.
It was an unwinnable police action, you simply cannot expect to fight a guerrilla war with conventional tactics and equipment, which is exactly what they tried to do.

The one thing I feel sorry for good old Tricky Dick about was that he was handed a mess with the entire Vietnam conflict No decision he could have made would have been the right decision.
Every direction for him was stepping off a cliff. He got handed a mess that 3 other administrations had made all the wrong decisions about.
Not unlike this nonsense in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Obama has legitimately screwed up enough things that his opponents don’t need to try to make the things he speaks in truth look false. Doing so only takes their credibility away.
That Obama is wrong most of the time doesn’t mean he is wrong all of the time.

it was another example of us military having to finish the job other countries hadnt been able to finish themselves, we didnt create the first war in that area nor were we ever approached to help them out until the situation became a real global threat

          • Rockledge

No. American military is supposed to exist to protect our borders, which no longer even exist.
The military didn’t “have” to get involved. Our bought and payed for politicians decided to meddle, once again, protecting corporate interests under the guise of the ridiculous notion of “fighting the red menace”.

The end result was the same as if we had never gotten involved, except now Vietnams beautiful coastland didn’t end up being another hotel ridden tourist attraction.
We lost, Vietnam fell to the “red menace”, and they obviously were never a threat to us. The only real global threat is our corporations wanting to rule the world and abusing our political system to do so.
All the while sitting idly by while we are invaded silently by third world shitholes.
Which doesn’t make a great deal of sense.

What the negro is NOT telling you is what communist do to their own people telling me how he looks down on communist nations to speak to them in such a manner not to call out their many shortcoming that far exceed the 18 of ours, which some are not true, or even greatly exaggerated.

It seems the negro does not wish well on anybody. The negro should of been removed on DAY ONE!!! But instead you gave him the FOOL two terms. And possibly EVEN MORE might be coming.

You do not want to get STUCK with either the negro or Hillary!!!

      • Rockledge

Posts like yours make those who are opposed to President Obamas performance look like fools.
I didn’t vote for the guy, and think he is just another neocon stooge, but to make rude offensive posts like yours makes you look silly.
First off, he is not “the negro”. There are MANY negros on the planet.
I am someone who uses what crybabies call “racial slurs” freely.
But to do so in such an offensive manner as you are doing is pointless.

I agree with much of your post, but your childish schoolyard taunting manner of posting invalidates your opinion.
He is President Obama, or Obama if you wish to trivialize his position.
Those who misspell his name or reference him by his race ( which is inaccurate, he is just as Caucasian as he is negroid) appear to be low rent malcontents who have trouble expressing themselves.

If you don’t like the guy, fine. I don’t like him either. But express your dislike like an intelligent adult.
        “The negro”. Sheeeeesh.

        • wiseoldlady

He certainly does not think like white men. He thinks like the black racist that he is and has pushed upon society via the progressives.

          • Rockledge

Fine, then express yourself like you think a “white man” does, and knock of the unintelligent ghetto level cheap shots.
Obama is one of the few people I have heard refer to themselves as an “african-American” where it actually could apply , being as he actually did at least go to school in that part of the world.
It would be an accurate term to describe him.
Obama has never lived the “black experience” and as I say, is half Caucasian.
Calling him a “negro” simply is bad vernacular, it is technically inaccurate and an obsolete word that is obviously a bad attempt to be insulting.
Which doesn’t work, as I say, it just makes you look silly.
Of course, you could actually make yourself look intelligent and educated by referring to him as “the President”, but I suppose that would be a bit much for you.
As I said, he is not by any means “THE negro, which implies he is the only being on the planet with Negroid genetics.
There are millions of people with the same genetics all over the planet.

            • Big dog.../small fish...

I’ve once commented on that too and I was more or less sent packing.

            • Big dog.../small fish...

Oh, he might just reply: no worse than that delusional frenchie claiming to be Jesus who calls everyone HOMOS.
