Just 2 months ago, foreign hackers from Russia and Yemen managed to temporarily seize control of our Facebook page, but the attack was miraculously repelled. I give all the credit to prayer and intercession for NTEB to the Lord.

When I was checking the mail today at the NTEB post office box, I was pleasantly surprised to receive my first Christmas card of the season. It was from a Michigan NTEB’er and her husband who wrote me a very lovely and encouraging note, and enclosed a donation as well.

“Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account. But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God. But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:17-19 (KJV)

As a labourer for the Lord in the global harvest field, the work of the ministry can be both exhilarating and exhausting. It is the greatest joy to see a lost soul come to saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, as well as being able to show a fellow Christian how to ‘rightly divide’ the scriptures. That’s the fun part. The not so fun part is the endless debates and arguments with others that can arise as a result of an incomplete understanding of the word. Such is life in the ministry. Be that as it may, whenever someone takes a moment to send me a word of encouragement, it is always happily welcomed as was this note and gift from Rena and her husband. Thank you so very much!

Now The End Begins has grown to the point where I can no longer financially sustain it on my own, and for the past year and a half we have been raising funds. So many of you have and do generously respond and we appreciate that very much.

And were it not for the fervent prayers of God’s people on our behalf, we would have folded long ago. NTEB will officially be 9 years old on December 14th of this year, and we are excited about the ministry possibilities and challenges that await us in the new year.
