Fundraiser To Help Our Longtime NTEB Volunteer Janette Carter Who Is Disabled And Needs Funds To Prevent Being Evicted From Her Home

I hate asking for help. I lost my job a few months ago, and have been looking for another one I can physically do. I’m 3 months behind in all my bills.

I have known Janette for nearly 10 years now. She is a strong Bible believer, a close personal friend, and also the person who faithfully records the notes for all of our weekly Sunday night radio Bible studies, and then posts them all across Facebook. She also has some serious health issues that she has done her best to deal with over the years. When I heard that she was in danger of being evicted, I knew exactly what the Lord would have me to do. The first thing I did was make a donation, and the second thing is I sat down and started writing this article.

“I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed.” Psalm 37:25,26 (KJV)

I have been saved for 29 years now, and many events over those years has taught me that God likes to uses His people to take care of the needs of His people. I am thrilled to be able to play a part in providing what this dear sister in Christ has need of right now, and I would like to ask you also to pray about being a blessing to her as well.

I was informed by my landlord that if I don’t have the 3 month’s rent by August 15th, he is taking action to evict me from the home I’ve been in for 17 years. Being disabled, it will be very hard to get moved in 30 days. I don’t have anyone that can really help me move.

A little background…I’ve been disabled since 1993 due to a car accident that caused permanent injury to my lower back. Since then I have not been able to work much, and have only been able to take jobs that enable me to sit, as I cannot walk or stand for more than a few minutes at a time. I lost my job 3 months ago & haven’t been able to find another one which enables me to only sit.

Working on it…I have found a business that I can do from home, so I’m working on this while I’m still looking for work outside my home that I’m able to do.
