For a great many of us it doesn’t matter what the value is as we would have to decide to Eat OR Buy a Metal??? On my
Pittance going from $22.50 as a “Heating A/C, & Refrigeration Technician”(A Large truck hit’s me & that’s gone, SO), my
pittance is $743 per month. I could have collected in 1993 but I fought to rehab ~Worked 12 more years at up to $9 an
hour & then was a “Stay at home daddy”,,,Stay at home parenting IS by for the hardest job I ever did but that was 6 years & so I went 18 years prior to needing the disability.
I wish I could could have a “Token amount” to get me thru as I can’t do hard labor IF & When bad strikes this
