Colorado Dan Maes to Pull a “Scozzafava”

Well, here we go again. Do you remember Dede Scozzafava of NY23? She was the Repugnant Party candidate for the U.S. Representative race in the New York Congressional District 23. Because of her very low polling number (around 5%), she dropped out of the race. That was a smart move. Then, she pulled a stupid move. To spite the Tea-Party-backed candidate (Doug Hoffman) for causing her to have a low polling number (as she felt), she endorsed the Democrat candidate, Bill Owens! Owens went on to win the seat by the small percentage points that Scozzafava had garnered on the polls. Scozzafava is the poster child of the typical Republican in Name Only (RINO) traitor to the conservative cause. Scozzafava is a typical mug-wump, which is someone who has her/his feet in both major parties. What a traitorous rat!

Now, enter Dan Maes, the Repugnant Party candidate for governor of Colorado. Maes is pulling single digit percentages on the polls with Tom Tancredo, American Constitution Party candidate, within a few percentage points of beating the Democrat candidate, John Hickenlooper. Thus far, Maes refuses to drop out of the race and plans to hang on until the end. He is pulling a “Scozzafava” on the conservatives. This is a perfect case of “a vote for the Republican is a vote for the Democrat.” If Maes causes Tancredo to lose because he failed to support the conservative cause, it will prove that he is another typical RINO traitor. This will be the start of rendering the Repugnant Party an irrelevant party and will usher in the call for a third major national party.

We hope that Dan Maes will come to his senses in the next few days and not sabotage Tom Tancredo who would be the best man for leading Colorado in these scary times. This is the time for Maes to think about the future of our country instead of just Dan Maes. Causing the Democrat to win would hurt the effort to turn the country around from becoming a Marxist-socialist state. Dan Maes, please do the right thing. You have absolutely no chance of winning, so why would you want to be another Scozzafava-type spoiler?
