The problem, of course, is that EFSA can look at 100 per cent of independent  scientific peer reviewed studies showing aspartame not to be safe, and say its safe anyway.  As an example, not only did the Ramazzini Studies show aspartame is a multipotential carcinogen but the FDA themselves admitted it caused cancer in Congress in 1985.  The Ramazzini Institute, Dr. Morando Soffritti, did three (3) studies but EFSA wouldn’t accept any.  Then a study in Denmark showed aspartame jumps preterm births up to 78%, and they wouldn’t accept that either.

Yet, aspartame has been known to cause birth defects from the beginning,  and even be an abortifacient.    FDA even “admitted” it causes birth defects:  mpwhi.com/aspartame_causes_birth_defects.htm The Aspartame Industry is so greedy for profit they even want it from pregnant women, knowing these women could lose their baby or have a baby with birth defects like autism.  So they object to the warning.  Fetal alcohol syndrome is why pregnant women are told not to use alcohol, but in aspartame you have free methyl alcohol, much worse.  Plus the phenylalanine can cause birth defects and mental retardation as Dr. Louis Elsas, pediatric professor, genetics, told Congress in 1985.

EFSA is loyal to industry and one of its people, Dr. Herman Koeter resigned and his press release said, “they were pressured by industry to hijack science”.  So there you have the problem.

We are getting together now all the independent studies on aspartame we can find, and they all show aspartame to be unsafe.  Dr. H. J. Roberts has provided to Mission Possible International all his research of 30 years with many of the studies.  Searle did studies in 6 countries and didn’t publish them.  According to the translator, aspartame caused brain tumors, seizures, hardened the synovial fluids and damaged the brain.  The pregnant woman lost her baby, hemorrhaged and disappeared.  Big Pharma many times do studies in foreign countries and does not publish them.  In this case they used people from poor villages who would not be missed.  I doubt if there are any survivors.
