Does exercise help all of us?

We ask this question everyday. Many researchers claim that we make these excuses to find new ways to avoid exercising. It’s true to some extent. It’s why we see all these charts that shows cardiovascular diseases and lifestyle disorders. We watch these people who keeps saying, “I am too old for this!” or “I am just a kid, cut me some slack!”

These are just excuses. There is weight training, aerobic exercising, stationary exercising equipment, gyms, sprinting, walking, jump ropes, biking, resistance training; the list goes on. Every healthy person without physical challenges can find at least four suitable training routines from this list. Exercising can help us keep the stress levels down and feel more positive.

How to overcome this? There is no easy way. We must understand that only exercising will only benefit us if we do it regularly. Most of us just start doing some routines and loose the sportive spirit. We do not do it for the right reasons. Most old age people ignore exercising because think that there is no real reason for them to do so.

When we’re young, we do it for looks. After a while, most people consider doing workouts for health. When we approach old age, most of us feel no need to do so. There is a scientific fact that we forget here. Researchers found out that moderate to intense exercising can protect your brain from ‘silent strokes,’ the first sign of cerebrovascular disease. Do you recommend your old age parents to exercise?

Exercising can help all of us. It can help kids, workers, professionals, old age people, middle age people, desk-job people. It is easy to start a routine; the real hard part is maintaining and controlling this routine. How did you start a routine? Did you need some professional support to do so?
