Want a new reason to get kids to bed early?

If you are not one of those crazy parents, you really want your kids to have a nice reputation in school, don’t you? I mentioned in my early posts that there are many problems a  kid can get if deprived of sleep.

A recent study says that kids can turn into ‘bullies’ if they are annoyed by those sleep less nights. We know how we are when we don’t get proper rest.

Kids are like us too. Those little men need rest, or they’ll go nuts. Really nuts, in an absurd, burdensome way that’ll make you go nuts too.

Kids can become bullies because of sleep disorders?


I know that most of you might be thinking, “kids are kids, how can they be violent because of these silly things?” I know that if you are a parent, you’ll defend your kids like this for sure.

How I know that? My mother did so.

When I thought about this for sometime, I remembered my mother saying that I was a handful when I was a kid and I never got enough sleep too. Could there be a connection? Yes, at least in my case.

Back to the point, the study also mentioned that there might be a chance for the kid to develop other aggressive behavior because of sleep deprivation.

Aren’t sleep disorders in kids normal?


That’s true if you are talking about a little kid as much as one year old. Don’t you think that its abnormal for active kids to have sleep disorders? I am talking about 8 year olds! It’s not very normal for “active” kids at all.

It’s important that kids get enough sleep now. The TV shows and cartoons might be tempting them to quit sleep, but responsible parents must not yield to that wish.

The hectic and busy world out there makes parents so confused about small details like these nowadays.

It’s your choice! Do you want an ANNOYING bully for a kid?

Besides, sleep deprivation can contribute to obesity, laziness, social isolation, mood disorders, emotional problems. It totally screw your kids!
