Hey Guys what’s up! It is time once again to give you an update on this site’s over all progress. This year end report is not good at all due to the recent shake up on Google’s algorithm.
First off, the Google Panda (2011 update) had hit this site pretty hard last year but I was able to recover its rankings. Rankings are keyword positions in Google search. So for example you search for “health talk”, my site should appear on page 1.
Then another big blow came out from Google Zoo and it was called the Penguin update. This update however buried my site into oblivion where almost all searches are gone. My web traffic goes from thousands to zero.
Along with that traffic drop is the site’s earnings of course. Thanks for the loyal advertisers who still trusted the site thru adverts. That kept this site working at this very moment.
As you may noticed or if you have following this blog for years, I have stopped writing articles since June of this year due to frustration and lack of hope. But then I realized that it was not the right mindset to close out my online business.
So what I did was to persevere and continue my work. I am now working hard on reversing the Penguin’s effects on this site and that is not an easy task. Rest assured that I will continue to feed you with trending news and issues for your health needs.
So this year, the site only accumulated a total of 53,211 unique visits, way low from the previous year. To summarize it up, below are the best posts that tops this year.
Still the best viewed post of all time! This post generated the highest views this year but not the best bounce rate based on its statistics.
My post regarding Sabah Snake Grass is still one of the best searched post in Google despite the Penguin update.
Guyabano is said to have high amounts of anticancer properties. Read this post to find out more.
Lagundi is a potent herbal solution to various diseases. This post is yet topping this list for three years now.
Mangosteen fruit is reportedly effective for various illnesses especially for cancer prevention. Aside from that, it sits at number five on this list.
