More of my Thoughts On Guns & Maybe More..Without Sharing 2 Much!

I believe we need to fight to keep our constitution. I believe in the right to bear arms. I do not believe a person needs fully automatic weapons unless they are military though, that’s just me. I do not believe guns are the answer or solution to anything but home invasion, safety, hunting for food purpose, and to just shoot at targets in safe areas for fun. If an intruder entered my house, or my families lives were in danger I would have no problem at all pulling a trigger, living with the aftermath may be another story, and I hope I never have to find out! Yes, I have been hunting and know how to shoot, kill, field dress, hang, cut up the meat & feed my family, and if I had to I could do that. Do I feel we all need to go out and buy guns? I am not sure of our future here in the USA, if they ever pass a bill making guns illegal that does go against our Constitution and would be illegal for our government to enforce, would i fight it? Yes. My best friend Mark brought up a good point though to me, what if the enforcers were the national guard, your son? No, I could not shoot in that situation, unless our lives were in danger from them. It really got me to thinking about things long and hard. In my family, we have seen the good and bad that can happen with guns. I would rather have the choice if I am ever in that situation though where if only I had a gun, I wouldn’t have been raped, killed, my family raped or killed etc. Truth is I have owned guns before, but right now I do not own one. I just didn’t want a gun around while my kids were still young, altho their Dad owns many, and they have been taught about them and have all been shooting. Will I ever need to protect my family with a gun? Will I ever need to go hunting for food to survive because something happens with our food supply? I don’t know the answer to these questions at these scary times, but I sure as hell would rather have a gun for the in case. What if the in case never comes? I will be thrilled! I do believe that if you fill out the proper legal work to own a gun, then you need to learn how to use it and take care of it safely and properly. Guns should NEVER be toys and SHOULD NEVER BE USED AS A THREAT. You only pull a gun on someone in a situation where it is your life, or others or theirs and be sure you can follow through and shoot the person, if you are no capable of that then do not get your concealed weapons permit and carry, you may even consider not even having a gun in that case, which is fine.If you have a gun you must secure them?Store them properly and DO NOT GIVE THE INFO TO GET THEM OUT TO ANYONE BUT YOU! I am not sure at all what our future in this country holds. Do I worry about the future? Yes, I really do. When I was growing up I was proud to be an American, we seemed to have more rights, less stress, etc…………………Have things changed that much in the US or is it that I am just grownup and faded? I think a bit of both. We do need to stop bullying each other and making threats, violence is not the answer unless it’s your only option as in I die or the other person does, same goes for family, meaning either the treat dies or the family is hurt/killed. I pray alot for many things, and many people now days. If someone wants to kill, they will find a way, with or without a gun. Life is not black & white, there are so many shades of grey. Will I get a gun, possibly so, til then I have 2 bats, many many knives in all sizes, stun guns, and I am Irish………………..so I pity the fool that messes with us here at my house! I also am pretty good with pipe wrenches, chains, brass knuckles & rocks! & have u seen the size of my purse!?
