How To Heal Cavities Naturally

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

Wednesday, September 25, 2013 by: Derek Henry

(NaturalNews) The world is slowly waking up to the fact that, when you give the body what it needs, it can heal things we previously thought were impossible. A fine example of what is often deemed as an incurable health problem is dental cavities, but extensive research is now becoming more public about the true nature of tooth decay and the fact that there are proven remedies that can remedy it.

The lies perpetrated about tooth decay

According to the American Dental Association, the reason we have tooth decay is as follows:

“[Tooth decay] occurs when foods containing carbohydrates (sugars and starches) such as milk, pop, raisins, cakes or candy are frequently left on the teeth. Bacteria that live in the mouth thrive on these foods, producing acids as a result. Over a period of time, these acids destroy tooth enamel, resulting in tooth decay.”

There are a few problems with this theory, including:

• Groups of indigenous people who had fermentable carbohydrates stuck on their teeth all the time that did not brush or floss were mostly or completely free of tooth decay.
• Bacteria do not consume processed sugar or flour because of the lack of nutrients in them.
• Foods that bacteria like to eat, such as milk, vegetables, meat, fish and fruit, are not commonly implicated in causes of tooth decay.

So if the modern explanation of tooth decay is not accurate, what is actually the cause of tooth decay?

What actually causes tooth decay

Tooth decay, as researched by Dr. Weston Price and other dental pioneers, boiled down to three factors:

• Not enough minerals in the diet.
• Not enough fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, and K) in the diet.
• Nutrients not being readily bioavailable, and your intestinal system not properly absorbing them. The presence of phytic acid largely influences this factor.

Derek, the most definitive thing I can say about most of your article is HOGWASH! I have personally treated thousands of people with dental caries over the last 40 years and find your statement about “lies perpetrated about tooth decay” to be absurd. And yes, I am an expert and hold the degrees to prove my statement-how about you? The causal relationship on how decay “works” is actually very well studied and supported by thousands of articles over the last several decades. The amount of human suffering due to extensive decay has been arrested very well by modern advances in the Dental profession as well. Bold statements like yours do nothing except cause the laity public “hope in an alternative” to dental visits. Unfortunately some of the things that you suggest, such as stating that Phytic Acid reducing bio-availability is simply an ignorant statement frankly-that notion has never been proven other than by continual regurgitation of nonsense like this article. Putting yourself in the position of “expert” when you display such ignorance may not only dangerous to people, but you, sir, are no expert in anything except the promotion of further QUACKERY. Simply because you promote “alternative” health styles does not make you bad, it apparently makes you grasp at any hopeful “expert” to agree with a faulty premise, such as your use of Dr. Price as the expert in your article. I happen to be personally familiar with him as he and my grandfather were in the same dental school class, my Father also knew him when he was in retirement. Please don’t use old references to soil long dead experts (at their time) in an attempt to inflate your credibility, as it only serves to expose you further. Dr. Price was actually a good influence in modern Dentistry and attempts at disparaging his memory is upsetting to those of us who actually do know of his contributions!

Thank you. By commenting on this, you’ve done humanity a great service. It’s awful to see sites like this where scam artists prey on the unknowing public, appealing to their “common sense” against “big xxxx.”
The fact that cavities are caused by bacteria which convert sugars into acid can be discovered by anyone with access to a local community college. If any of you believe this article, I highly encourage to actually join your cheapest local college that offers a microbiology course. You can see this effect with your own eyes. You can experiment in the lab. There is no doubt whatsoever as to the cause of dental caries.

Ahhh, the corporate dental industry, drilling out teeth from birth to the stone. There couldn’t possibly be anything different than the profiteering motives these dental gurus throw in our grills as the only way. Reminds me of the cancer industry.

Any fool that denies that the entire intestinal tract, from mouth to anus works in tandem to keep the entire body functioning properly is a liar and a thief. It isn’t about getting sugar on your teeth. It’s about keeping the flora in your body as healthy as can be so the immunity systems of the body can perform the function of keeping decay at all levels from happening.

How many dentists, pseudo doctors, actually base the health of your teeth and gums, in large part, on keeping your body healthy by eating the diets most suited for human life? About the same as cancer doctors – zero. Instead, it all must be about brushing your teeth with fluoride, watching those sweets and making that appointment every 6 months for xrays to the head, a good old flouride treatment, followed by the inevitable mercury fillings to poison one for all his life.

Sure dentistry has come a long way, but every science is riddled throughout the ages by calcified minds that claim the current way is the only way, the best way, and further speculation, invention, practice, or even the combining of information is a futile waste of time. This is how scientists keep themselves in the money. DMDs are absolutely no different. Dentists make money from tooth decay. The last thing any dentist wants is less cavities. Just like the last thing any oncologist wants is less cancer.

Doctors treat, rarely offer valid strategies of prevention, and never offer a cure. There is not money in prevention or cure. There is a bankload of money in drills, drugs, and chemical treatments.

Other than that, thanks for setting everyone straight with your “credentials”. Anyone with credentials wouldn’t waste their time reading and replying to this, unless they felt threatened by it. So you are either threatened or a liar.

Chewey….practicing dentists (thirty years for me) have no need to invent or produce dental disease. Resistance or propensity are based on genetics controlled immune systems and the oral environment ( especially PH…buffer with baking soda powder) which is determined by diet and oral hygiene.

There are plenty of half wits with dietary sugar habits to keep the profession going without iatrogenic coaxing.
Matter of factly, the numbers of practicing dentists is going to shrink by 25% over the next ten years, while education costs have risen substantially. The prospect of lower fees seems dim going forward.

drd…your an idiot! You can wipe your arse with your degrees!! I know many people who let their cavities go, ate better and the cavities healed! Myself is one, my children another and my husband. Teeth are bone and bone heals so why are teeth exempt??? Now if the cavities are too far gone, into the pulp, well that’s another story….somethings are beyond healing, but yes…you can reverse cavities!! FACT FACT FACT!! Use your common sense not some old history books you used to get a degree and claim yourself as an expert!! You only know what you have been taught by others, if you were any kind of professional you would THINK for yourself and do your OWN research…not claim to be all knowing because of others ideas!! We as a nation have the worst diets…now that’s a current fact!

My question is: How could a person of your caliber possibly be interested in a site like this that allows lies and false statements, hoaxes, ignorance and just plain and pure junk?

Please, spend your time wisely, as we don’t have that much left.

        • chefjim

What do you mean, we don’t have much time left?

      • Truthseeker007

And you probably still believe flouride is good for the teeth. I have to ask who is really the quack here. I would say you. You are probably for putting flouride in the water also.

    • MrAnthony

Derek should be banned from receiving any modern dental care for the rest of his life. That includes the use of toothpaste and brushing. Then, we’d see if he literally will put his money where his mouth is. What a bunch of bogus science.

    • POC2014

FLUORIDE in toothpaste and tap water are the major causes of tooth decay. So Doc why do you continue to lie to your patients?

    • John P Grimes

About 5 years ago I actually had to argue with my former dentist to get the mercury fillings out of my mouth. He denied that they were a problem. Plus he still pushed the poisonous fluoride toothpaste. Just because someone has a degree or several doesn’t mean he or she has all the right answers. I still go to a dentist for cleanings and repair work but supplement his knowledge with my own studies.

      • brisa

John….FYI, the safest, most inert dental filling matrial is cast gold. Having those “poisonous mercury fillings” replaced with composite (white, silica filled plastic) may rid you of exposure to nano grams of residual mercury, but many of those materials contain a toxic plasticizer (bis phenol A) which has been shown to leach into the body, mimicking estrogen and disrupting healthful endocrine function.

Pick your poison. Best thing is to need no restoration in the first place and that depends on your dietary habits and oral hygeine practices.

        No need to be hostile.

        • Freeamerican

You are correct the best filling is gold, but what made you assume grimes had his mercuries replaced with composite. That’s your assumption, an idiotic one. The best replacement is gold but most dentists are too lazy to use it. Do you use ozone (gas form) in your practice, no you do not. I know that because fewer than one percent use ozone treatment at this time and virtually all still recommend fluoride products which are a farce. People have a right to be hostile to the dental industry just like the medical industry, far behind and full of arrogance, in your case at the cost of your customer’s teeth.
Did you dentists come out against the communist rip off health bill, no, you tried to leech on and get working Americans to pay for dental for welfare leeches. Have you protested the ADA so that ridiculous college fees can be brought down and there can be more practitioners to serve customers, no. You like your corrupt hold on the game just like the medical industry. Have you protested fluoride in drinking water, no, you sit on your rears letting it happen. If you did, put on a link showing your latest article against fluoridated water. You dentists are arrogant phonies. It’s long past time to reform the rip off medical complex and dental complex and flood the market with informed practitioners, that will be the end of your arrogant game.

i wounder if dentist still have a high suicide rate

      • PaulTarsuss

Have no fear, it will all shake out soon enough…..

And who is really who, and why, will be known to all.

“And the last shall be first, and the first shall be last”.

        Blessings

    • Pateriot

When I was a child we rarely had sweets or pop. We also did not brush our teeth regularly nor floss. I went to the dentist’s office once growing up ad had my teeth cleaned at school about 4 times. I did not have my first cavity until I was 28 years of age. I think that not only is pop and sweets bad for your teeth, but so are teeth cleaning and dentists!

    • Joerg Klaemt

      @ drd
Naturally you must protect your profession that nets you 200.000.00 a year.
Don’t think for a moment that there are no alternative and better ways.
I also agree with john P Grimes above that most Dentist push for the Amalgam Fillings knowing that they are full of poisonous Mercury. Yes you have studied and learned to please your Mentors that profit extremely well from the 2 bit material that you dispense @200 fold.
Just like Royal Rife who cured yes Cured Cancer and any other virus and Bacterial infection and was recognized by the AMA until he did not tow their line.(Google it).
They are still canvassing for Research money 75 Years later because those knuckleheads that run those Universities taught you from their selected Study Material provided by the Rockefeller Organisations. This is why Chiropractors and Nature path Doctors that I respect, are shunned and suppressed by your pseudo Science.

    • stonecold68

So how do we heal them then?

    • Truthseeker007

Thanks for the good article. I will try it since I can’t afford a dentist. I even have dental insurence and I still can’t afford a dentist.

    • balancedones

Even the most brilliant scientists (dentists) are seldom willing to admit the simplest of truths if they be such to contradict what they (you) learned as students taught as professors and hold as sacred ancestral treasures…youassclown brainwashed brick in the wall flouride infested pineal dead retard
