Hello real food friends and coconut lovers!

Several years ago I purchased a chocolate body butter that I absolutely loved. The product is no longer available. Even if it was I wouldn’t buy it because I love making my own beauty products with ingredients that I know will nourish my skin. This recipe is easy and delicious (I tasted it!). I know many of you enjoy making your own beauty products so I thought I’d share it with you. Enjoy!

Whipped Chocolate Body Butter

Ingredients:
1/2 Cup Cocoa Butter
1/2 Cup Coconut Oil
2 Tablespoons Cocoa Powder
1/4 Teaspoon (or 1 capsule) Vitamin E

Directions: Melt cocoa butter and coconut oil over very low heat. Remove from heat and allow the oil to cool in the refrigerator until its almost solid. Whip the the oils with a stand or hand mixer until it is light and fluffy. Once whipped, add cocoa powder and vitamin E (optional). Whip ingredients together until combined. Store in air tight container.

Note: You can leave the cocoa powder out if you like, but it has a lovely bronzing affect.
