The Reaper Seeds: Worlds Hottest Pepper! (Painful Video).

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

Do you like your mouth being on fire? Do you enjoy having a fantastic flushed face? Do you try to eat the hottest food you can get your hands on? If so, then you definitely should read on.

After taking a bite of my favorite dish of all time…Pad Thai (Level 50 at my local favorite Thai restaurant) I decided that it was time for my palate to graduate into unknown spicy territory and find more spicy foods to ingest. I have to say my mouth is like a fire truck it can handle heat and it never wears out. So this is what I found:

On December 12, 2013 Ed Currie was given the award from The Guinness Book of World Records for the hottest peppers in the world. This pepper not only is famous for spicy food lovers around the world ( like myself) it also was certified by students at Winthrop University who test food as part of their undergraduate classes. So…what are these mysterious peppers called? Only the crazy Carolina Reaper Peppers my nuggets! If you’re not a spicy food lover and you don’t intend on being so at least consider the health benefits that come with spicy food.

Why Everyone Should Eat Spicy Peppers

- The hotter the peppers the more antioxidants it contains…ya dig ;)

- Hot peppers can release endorphins, the pleasure hormone!

- They are an aphrodisiac!

-  It boosts your metabolism!

- IT KILLS CANCER:

It appears that capsaicin may fire a lethal blow at cancer cells by affecting the activity of a protein complex called NF-kappa Beta. This makes it more difficult for cancer to dodge programmed cell death (apoptosis). In the prostate study, capsaicin caused the death of about 80% of prostate cancer cells in mice, making tumors shrink by about one-fifth the size of untreated tumors ( Web MD para 5).

- The compound that gives peppers their burn — capsaicin — can actually relieve the burning from nerve pain (Web MD)

So if you want to try something new and want to get healthier? Stop by your local market and buy some peppers! You don’t have to jump right in to the hottest peppers their are. It took Radical Rose years to achieve her spicy tolerance and changing palate. Just like with herbs some peppers won’t be as tasty but just think of all the health benefits you are receiving from these amazing little things!

Below are some videos of some individuals trying these spicy peppers:

If you have sensitive stomachs…don’t watch this:

If you’re interested in trying out these people you can go to Ed Currie’s online store below:
