Why Eat Organic?
Organic organic organic. That’s all you hear about, right?! Well, it’s for a good reason. You’re here because you want to eat organic, or you already are. We all have our own reasons for choosing organic foods and products. (Most of those reasons are the same – I’m gonna assume – but I’ve decided to give you my take on it). Here’s why I eat organic and strive to only feed my children organic.
(If you’re reading this, you probably know all of this, if you’re not an organic fan yet, hopefully I can change your mind)
Before I had children, my husband was very amendment about only buying organic and non-GMO products. (This was about 8 years ago). I was oblivious to what GMOs were and didn’t fully understand why we should eat organic.
I was merely frustrated at his refusal to go to our local grocery store to buy groceries. He would only buy organic, which at the time was almost impossible to find at a local retailer. So we drove (and we still do) to a Whole Foods – or similar store – to shop.
Then a few years later the documentary FOOD Inc. came out. I watched it, and it changed my world. I was disgusted at the lack of knowledge I had. How could I be ingesting foods with so many fillers, preservatives, pesticides, GMOs, hormones, antibiotics, and other unnecessary ingredients? READ MORE

The pesticide residue is so high on non organic and gmo foods that it becomes a health hazard. Why do u think we have so much cancer, IBS, thyroid issues, diabetes, collagen vascular diseases etc…. So try to eat organically grown non gmo foods whenever possible. When I lecture on nutrition for macular degeneration I always say try to eat organically grown!! There is a list of 12 foods called “the dirty dozen” that u should never eat unless you know they are organically grown due to the high amounts of pesticide in the meat of the fruit or vegetable.
