Inadequate nutrition causes slow growth which leads to a poor height. So following a proper and balanced diet plan one can easily achieve the desired height. Because this particular diet stimulates the growth hormones and allows one to grow taller. Proteins

Protein is something, which works effectively in increasing the height because various tissues are being made by protein. Minerals

Foods, which are rich in phosphorus, fluoride, magnesium, iron and iodine contribute a lot to the growth of the body and also in increasing the height. Calcium helps in maintaining strong bones and growth can also be seen after intaking foods which contain minerals.

  • In increasing height zinc plays important role and therefore zinc and other foods which are rich in minerals should be added in the diet plan. So foods like lamb, oysters, steak, peanuts, turnip and soy products are highly recommended for those females who want to gain some inches.
     
  • Iodine is another mineral which accelerate the function of thyroid gland and contributes in body development. Hence fish, meat, tomatoes, cereals should be listed for increasing the height.
