Well this is a nice couple of posts with some turning points. Your next installment of “Blast from the Past”:

Original Stardate” 7/15/2010
I have been very fortunate not to have any cravings for carbs. I can’t imagine how hard it is for those who do on (ZC). I did have cravings on LC and VLC and untimely failed. It’s a whole different situation on (ZC). On LC or VLC you have the “Franken Foods” to buy time until you fail.

Wow, what a day. I must be on some kind of “Protein High”. I would have to say that this must be my best day yet on (ZC). Not just the weight loss or no cravings for carbs, but just a sense of well-being. If I could bottle it I would be a Billionaire. 

Meat supplies were getting low so I ended up buying a family package of Rib eyes and a 3 lb tube of GB (80/20). I cut the steaks in half, made twelve meat patties and grilled it all on the outside grill. I flashed freeze them and stocked up the freezer with convenient source of protein.

Original Stardate: 7/15/2010 (second post, same day)
I finally got to get some rest last night. Spirits soaring high!!! I actually ate more than the day before. Sometimes it’s hard for me to tell if I’m hungry or if I am just getting false readings. I don’t think I need to wait until I start to feel my stomach rumbling? Right? 

Anyway for some reason I’m in a real, real good mood toady. It seems like sticking with GB and steaks works well. I don’t have all those choices to ponder over and I can cook massive amounts on the “Barbie”.

I found a real good deal for Rib eyes, bone in, for 3.97 lb. at a chain store called H.E.B. I know my DW is real concerned about the red meat consumption. I was mostly a big chicken fan most of the time we have been together. Although I know that she feels that my WOE is not balanced and unhealthy, she has backed off with her “balanced meal” sermons for the mean time.

Observation:
OMG! It looks like I am experiencing my first (ZC) high!!! Yes, a feeling of satisfaction of “Well Being”. I mention the “Franken Foods”….YIKES!!! I Tell You What: it is oh so easy to get caught up on those things. Some of us are programmed so DEEP that it is almost impossible to understand the “Beauty and Simplicity” of all things (ZC). That’s why I repeat so many times throughout my entire Journal “How easy it is”. Some folks may get a little ruffled with that, but it is usually the ones still trying to hang on to the past and recreate it. Hey I have been guilty of that, thank goodness I came to my sense. Yes, the old “Flash Freeze Method” It has saved me time and time again. At this point (DW) is still not on board with my new (WOE), but has backed off a little. Best of all the another day in the “Weight Loss” column for me.
