Cozy Forest Cones Designed By Japanese Man Allow You to View Nature Up Close

The age of tiny homes is limitless.

Chances are, there’s a home design just for you. Want one that’s big on space and even bigger on majestic views? These Japanese “cones” are enchanting retired ladies who want the feel of luxury steeped in connection with nature. They allow occupants to be serenely in the center of the forest but not too out in the open.

Japanese architect, Issei Suma, known for unique designs, has created this durable design shaped like five tents. It was designed for two retired women and their caretaker and cook. The design offers a harmonious flow, minimalism, a spiral-shaped indoor pool and a common kitchen among other amenities, Seraphinne of Bored Panda reports. The 100 square meter home is called Jikka and rests snugly in the Shizuoka Prefecture mountains of Japan.

Believe it or not, these aren’t “tents,” but are perfectly shaped squares that overlap. The question is, how many would you like?

Even the breath-taking spiral pool is a genius use of space.

Not sure about having the toilet out by the pool like that, but still a beautiful indoor scene.

Doors are replaced by openness and columns.
