Hillary Embraces Young Girl Hours After Collapsing from Pneumonia
“… doesn’t quite fit …”

After Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton collapsed this Sunday while being shuffled into a van and away from a Sep. 11 ceremony in New York City, her campaign claimed that she had been diagnosed with pneumonia two days earlier.
Two hours later, she reemerged from her daughter Chelsea Clinton’s apartment in Manhattan and then proceeded to answer questions from reporters and pose for a picture with a young girl.
This drew immediate condemnation from some who wondered why the Democrat candidate purposefully chose to essentially expose the unidentified girl to pneumonia, which is considered to be a highly contagious condition.
It also drew concerns regarding why Clinton had not been honest about her condition from the get-go.
Moreover, when Clinton collapsed on Sunday, her campaign initially blamed it on her being overheated, despite the weather in NYC not being that hot.
Writing for National Review, contributor Jim Geraghty wondered if perhaps even the pneumonia claim was itself a lie, especially considering how cheery and healthy Clinton had seemed when she appeared in Manhattan only two hours after she collapsed in NYC.
“She certainly seemed fine when she emerged from Chelsea’s apartment building a few hours later,” he wrote. “The seemingly cheery demeanor doesn’t quite fit with what would we would expect if she had just had pneumonia so bad that she fainted.”
In fact, when reporters questioned Clinton about her health, she replied by saying, “I’m feeling great.”
She added, “It’s a beautiful day in New York.”
Yet only a couple hours later, she cancelled her plans to visit California and announced that she instead intended to rest at her home in Chappaqua, as reported by Fox News.
“She was put on antibiotics, and advised to rest and modify her schedule,” her doctor, Lisa R. Bardack, announced in a statement. “While at this morning’s event, she became overheated and dehydrated. I have just examined her and she is now re-hydrated and recovering nicely.”
