The Meat is bad!

This is one of those stories that you just can’t believe. I had to verify the source and conduct more research before I was completely convinced.

Farmers all across the United States have been feeding Cattle candy in stead of corn or hay for years. The story was first reported on CNN back in 2012. The rising costs of corn have put a squeeze on farmers.

So what’s the solution?

Feeding cows candy corn instead of real corn. When large candy manufacturers produce a product that is not up to their specs, they usually send it off to a landfill, this means profit lost. Just like any other industry today, the best way to save money on trash disposal is to sell it as a product.

Why is this a health concern?

We all know candy is bad for you, but why do we care if cows are feed junk food? The main concern here is the build up of toxins in the meat, milk and other dairy products.

When these animals are feed junk foe at such a large scale you can bet its not part of a balanced diet. Here is an example of the amount of toxins they are feed.

With the size of this load, you can bet these cows were going to eat red skittles only for a few days.

Now here’s the problem with red skittles. They use a dye called Red 40, which is a known carcinogen.. Sure, eating a handful of skittles may not harm you. But imagine if you ate a burger that was saturated in this chemical.
