You could stick an Indian in the middle of nowhere and he would find something to eat.

As my dad said, Charlie, as long as there is a doughnut shop around, you’ll never starve.

Let me add one more herbal cure: sassafras root/bark

The Cherokee would boil the red inner bark or root to make a strong tea and apply it to poison oak/poison ivy – daubing it on liberally many times a day. By the end of day 3 the user will find their problem all but dries up and disappears.

If the sassafras smells a lot like root beer that’s because it was indeed the basis for the original root beer of yesteryear.

This cure is far quicker and better than all of the lotions on the market and is preferable to having steroid shots.

Give it a try! You can buy the root and bark online. The trees grow mainly from Georgia to Arkansas.
