Quit wasting your money on Health Insurance.

THE PROBLEM:

The Health Insurance business has become so bloated, that the average person can’t afford Health Insurance anymore! The price of Health care procedures and the cost of drugs has gone completely out of control.

Cost’s have skyrocketed and the quality of care is plummeting! Hospital staff, including Nurses and Doctors, spend more time covering their ass with mountains of paper work than with the patients!

Back in the 50′s, 60′s, 70′s, 80′s, a lot of people did not have Health insurance. It was not really needed for the most part!

Examples: Over the years fairly routine operations like an appendectomy have gone from about $700 to over $30,000. I know this as fact, due to many people I know that have had this procedure done. Last year a friend of mine had an emergency appendectomy done, with a final bill of over $45,000. With the modern, less invasive surgeries now and quicker recovery times, cost’s should not have gone from being able to pay from out of pocket, to having to get a home equity loan for ten’s of thousands or worse yet, to put it on a credit card at 18% interest!

Recently a friend had a 24 hour stay in the hospital, with one MRI done and some blood work done. Total bill was just under $15,000. The bill would have been double that, if my friend did what the doctors wanted (do another MRI, just to verify the first one, resulting treatment would not be changed) plus stay in bed for a few more days! My friend told the staff, this is out of pocket, I have no insurance. That quickly changed how the hospital ordered tests!

Another friend was referred by the VA, to one of the largest Hospitals in the world. My friend was there, just for a second opinion! The hospital only did one test, just to verify that the VA test said the same. One test, nothing else was done!. After laying in the hospital bed for 10 days (for observation) my friend finally had enough! The staff said he could not leave, but he did any way. My friend told me that he was becoming so weak by just laying there, that he was afraid he would never leave the hospital! The hospital staff were such pricks, that they did not even get a wheel chair to get him to the lobby (which is policy). BUT, they felt it was OK to send him a bill for over $200,000! That was  over a year ago, and he is doing fine now!

THE SOLUTION:

Unless you are medically covered by an employer, I would suggest doing what we did. Being self employed, my wife and I had to drop our health insurance after they jacked our rates to over $1,200 a month with a very high deductible and out of pocket cost’s. After searching for alterative health insurance, we found out through various acquaintances about Christian Healthcare Ministries (1,000,000 plus members). Our cost now is under $200 month and will cover the major medical expenses that could bankrupt us! This great organization, deals with the hospitals by reviewing the medical bill, then they negotiate a cash price and pay the bill. The hospital love’s this, no fighting with the insurance companies, reduced paper work etc…

If everyone ditched their expensive policies and joined an organization like the Christian Healthcare Ministries, the current bloated insurance system would be forced to change their wicked ways! Just think of what your family could do with the extra savings every month?

P.S.. Other than being paying members of “Christian Healthcare Ministries” we are not payed or even asked to promote them! We just want to help people to get affordable care. There are other similar organizations, just be aware that some may or maybe not be as good or honest!
