Half of the US hydroxychloroquine supply for Covid-19 has been abruptly cut off

BATTLE FOR WORLD | April 7, 2020: As President Trump continues to argue with members within his administration about the appropriate treatment for patients having the coronavirus (Covid-19), precious time is being wasted, and this is partly due to drug companies profit-motives and corporate media interference with the workings of the US government. And as this continues, what you have is a government that is deteriorating away from serving the interest and welfare of the people.

The drug that President Trump included as a potential treatment and preventive measure for COVID-19, the US has abruptly lost 47% of its supply of hydroxychloroquine.

Much of the drug supply is produced in India and the country has banned it from being exported on April 4. It is unknown if India came under pressure from anti-Trump forces to put in place a ban so that the drug cannot be shipped to the United States. And the well-known Dr. Anthony Fauci, a member of the White House Coronavirus Tasks Force, has said multiple times that evidence about the drug effectiveness is unproven despite the president’s claims. The drug is still undergoing clinical trials for treating COVID-19.

Dr. Fauci’s connection to drug companies involved in vaccine research may have been looking out for the interest of those companies and government funding. Did that side of the business pushed back, not wanting to see profits go to India?
