Strange Animal Chiropractor Sets Up Show in Downtown Federal Way

Offering chiropractic services to cats and dogs has gained some negative attention in the past, but recent research suggests that animal chiropractic services enhance the quality of life for many animals, but what would a chiropractor who specializes in exotic and farm animals do in a city like Federal Way, Washington. That is the question many people are asking after “Dem Bone Dem Bones Animal Chiropractic” opened up shop the city center.

“It’s really puzzling”, said long time Federal Way resident, Randy Thompson. “We don’t have any exotic animals, and farm animals aren’t around here, or at least they aren’t supposed to be. So I don’t know why or how it’d be beneficial to work in the area. Well, not as an exotic animal or farm animal chiropractor.” 

The chiropractor’s office took over a space that used to be an old hair salon. The space has been empty for the past 10 months, until the newest doctor and chiropractor set up shop. While many residents are unsure why this type of person would be working in the area, or how he could get any business, there is something they don’t know about – a new law.

“There is a new law on the books in Federal Way that will legalize the possession of many farm animals”, said Dr. Hamford, chiropractor and owner of ‘Dem Bone Dem Bones Animal Chiropractic’. “This law would allow residents of Federal Way to own chickens, horses, cows, and goats. Some of the more dangerous exotic and farm animals like bulls are still not allowed, but it’s any day now.”

Dr. Hamford and the staff at this animal chiropractic services specializes in helping animals lead productive and healthy lifestyles by receiving important back and neck adjustments. Currently, Dr. Hamford only works out of his office, but if the new law is passed he will expand his services to include house calls for an extra fee.

“People laugh at animal chiropractic services”, said Dr. Hamford. “Well, I just laugh at those poor people. The research clearly indicates that these back and neck adjustments are productive and healthy for animals. In fact, a study showed that chickens laid 50% more eggs after a back adjustment than they did naturally.”

‘Dem Bone Dem Bones Animal Chiropractic’ is officially open for business and prices are competitive. However, Dr. Hamford plans on offering an extensive discount on services for a week if the new law is passed in Federal Way.
