Conservative Inconsistency on Healthcare

If an anti-war liberal, libertarian, or conservative were to argue that they refuse to pay a tax because the Constitution provides no basis for the grounds to support illegal executive-ordered wars of choice, hypocritical and counter-productive interventions, foreign aid to dictators and theft of wealth to purchase ridiculous weapon systems, the pro-government statist from dog-catcher to Army general, to every single politician in Washington, would all argue that if We the People elected these leaders, and these leaders determine we need what they now claim, that being $1 trillion on military spending, 850,000 people with top secret clearances, 800 military bases in 120 different countries, a DHS apparatus that placed 1,000,000 Americans on the Terrorist Watch List and hundreds of billions in foreign aid, the establishment would all argue that we are government and so we are bound by what our government decides regarding the use of our money.

But, now these same statists who are Republican all argue that there is no constitutional authority for government to force Americans to pay for health care by cleverly calling it a tax instead of calling it a “penalty” for not having insurance.  These statists had no problem with the people’s money being taken by government to pay for bankers’ theft, fraud and waste.  They had no problem with government taking money to pay to Iraq to fund an unpopular government.  They have no problem with the government using money to overthrow Gadaffi or now create chaos in Syria.  They have no problem with the government instituting torture, destroying the fourth amendment and habeus corpus, allowing the president to conduct secret summary executions, destroying the rule of law and allowing warrantless spying, searches and wiretapping.  They have no problem with the courts enforcing tyranny and throwing peaceful protesters in jail. They have no problem with any tyranny they support being inflicted upon others, yet now they want to argue a case on constitutional grounds when they helped destroy the very constitution upon which they now attempt to rely for their argument.

The U.S. Constitution is a dead letter.  The government now decides how much freedom it will allow.  The government now decides how the government will spend our money.  The government decides where we will attack and how much of Americans’ money will be used to pay off dictators.  The government gets to decide if its tyranny is legal.  The government gets to decide if it secretly wants to execute someone extra-judicially.  The government gets to decide if it needs to hide its crimes by prosecuting whistleblowers, killing them, or just disappearing them and then torturing them.

We have allowed the complete destruction of our republic.  We now live in a police state under tyranny and the will of corrupt politicians.  We have overthrown the law as king and have instituted the will of corrupt men as our new law so they can change the rules as best fits their purposes from time to time as the need arises to engage in greater tyrannies.  Suddenly, we become surprised when it is discovered we surrendered all of our rights to what is now an unaccountable and totalitarian government who that no longer even bothers to promise to be a good master.

This current tyranny is not the logical conclusion of our failing to protect and defend liberty.  We have not come near reaching that point yet.  The tyrannies will become greater and more abusive.  The rule of law no longer applies to many and there is now a two-tiered justice system in which police perjury and prosecutorial misconduct are now the norm and are completely ignored by judges who have aligned against the people with the other branches of a corrupt government.

I want the government to continue on its path until the people are so fed up we begin a revolution and hold those accountable who have destroyed our freedoms, stole our wealth, forced us to suffer tyrannies and engaged in treason against the people.  For now I ask those who voted for establishment politicians from the Democratic or Republican parties to shut up.  You got exactly what you wanted.  The Democrats supported the tyranny from their party as did the Republicans from theirs. The Establisment Republicans even voted for a presidential candidate that instituted a version of Obama’s health care on his own state that came to be known as RomneyCare .

We have exactly the type of government that came from what both parties wanted.  Those who surrendered liberty to their partisans can now see exactly what they have created.  Enjoy.
