Roseman University Board of Trustees Appoints Beverly Hills Pharmacist Hootan Melamed

Beverly Hills, CA – The Board of Trustees of Roseman University of Health Sciences in Henderson, Nevada appointed Dr. Hootan Melamed, PharmD, a compounding pharmacist and entrepreneur from Beverly Hills.

In a statement, Dr. Melamed expressed his gratitude “I am honored to be asked to serve the university community at Roseman and my goal is to help students achieve their educational goals as well as inspire them to reach out into their communities to help others who are less fortunate. ”  

Founded in 1999 by Dr. Harry Rosenberg, the Roseman University of Health Sciences was established to improve pharmacy education and produce skilled and knowledgeable graduates. .  “Roseman quickly became one of the most innovative, creative, and cost-effective pharmacy schools in the nation, and I am honored to be associated with them,” Melamed added. He is also appointed to the College of Pharmacy at the University of Southern Nevada as part of the Board of Trustees.

With two doctorates in Pharmacy, Dr Melamed is also the founder of the compounding pharmacy New Age Pharmaceuticals that creates pain relief products which are custom-compounded to aid patients with work-related injuries. Aside from these distinctions, Melamed also hold the patent for Happy Tush™ Diaper rash cream and the provisional patent for his Methods for Alleviating Climacteric Symptoms along with other trademarks.
