Obama Set To Announce “Mission Accomplished” Today…
After months and months of the administration delaying enrollment numbers, or stating it didn’t actually know how many enrollees had actually paid, suddenly that former reality is being transformed before our eyes today as Barack Obama will march out and read from a teleprompter about how seven million have signed up, and Obamacare is the single greatest legislative achievement in the history of the world – or something like that. Alas, as is so often the case with the Age of Obama, truth, and attempted perception, are two very different things…
First, how is it that no real numbers were known before, but suddenly on the day of the extended deadline, the administration can come out and declare seven million have signed up?
It can’t of course, but Barack Obama intends to do just that today, and is secure in the knowledge few, if any, in the media will challenge his scripted assertions.
Second, how many of those “seven million” have actually paid. The White House, who has repeatedly declared it did not have this figure, suddenly did an about-face yesterday and indicated at least 80% – 90% have paid. They didn’t state how they came to that number, but simply put it out there, and the dutiful media is already reporting it as fact for the White House.
Then there is the statistic Barack Obama will not share during his “Mission Accomplished” presser today – the fact that two-thirds of all Obamacare enrollees are now paying HIGHER premiums than they were before! America was promised lower premiums under Obamacare. In fact, Barack Obama himself repeated over and over again that families would be saving $2500 per year. That was a lie, (among so many) and the media has yet to hold him accountable for it.
