One Arizona man's story of Arizona's predicament: soon to spread to more states

As countless Before It’s News readers respond to my columns, more and more Americans expose this country’s predicament.  We find ourselves in the middle of importing incompatible cultures into our communities like a high school chemistry class throwing unknown chemicals together. Result: the mixture will either melt down or blow up.

President Teddy Roosevelt said, “The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, or preventing as possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities.  We have one flag. We have one language, English.”

This reader, Garry Johnson, gave a first hand report on why Arizona passed SB 1070, “I read most of your articles and as an Arizonan of four years, (transplanted from Colorado), I get to see firsthand the problem of illegals here in this state.

“When I moved here four years ago, I rented a one bedroom apartment near 59th street and I-10. It was close to the engineering project I was working on but unknowingly it was in an almost all Hispanic area. Almost everyone at the apartment complex was Hispanic as well as most of the laborers at the construction site.

“I was impressed by their family loyalties, but not much else. They have little regard for the environment, and would eat their food and casually toss the remnants aside for yet another Hispanic to follow them and get paid to pick up their refuse.

“Most menial tasks here are performed by Hispanics, and if the owner of the company is Hispanic, often times they will dump their clippings, (in the case of a yard cleaning, or landscape company), in a remote site rather than paying landfill fees, and once again the cycle begins, now the city, county, or state contracts with a probably Hispanic company to pick up the refuse.

“We, (my wife and I), being from Colorado love the wild places, and are conscientious of environment and are appalled at all the trash and rubbish dumped in the desert.

“Close contact with Hispanics workers, and monitoring their level of work has led me to the conclusion that they don’t have the work ethic that most Americans have. If they’re not supervised continuously, they do poor work. It seems like supervisors know this and accept low grade work as a norm. “My position allowed me to be nearby and I would watch when the supervisor left the area, work stopped. When he returned, they would hustle around and act busy.

“We tend to be sympathetic towards underprivileged people trying to find a better life, but it seems that our southern border countries are encouraging their worst of the worst to leave their countries and “migrate” to the USA. It’s not their race or skin color, we know whites with no regard for the environment too, so race isn’t and issue.

“It’s just the millions coming into this country illegally are making not only an environmental nightmare, but an economic one as well. A visit to the ER will see a wait of four hours due to the Hispanic speaking people waiting in line for “free” health care. The joke here is to learn Spanish, dye your hair black, go to Mexico, then sneak back into the US and “demand” everything for free.

“We are, (my wife and I), are nearing retirement, and like many seniors, go to Mexico for dental, prescription drugs, and health care, and are even considering retiring to Mexico due to the cheaper cost of living. Sad, isn’t it? We’ve worked hard all our lives and can’t even afford to retire in our own country due to the financial burden of having to support so many illegals.”

If any of us, no matter what our race, creed or color might be, refuse to engage our U.S. Congress as we have not for 30 years as to the population/immigration equation-our children will find themselves living in a terribly degraded America where the American Dream will be described by the history books as a ‘fleeting fantasy’ from the era of 1950 to 2010.
