Fair works toward immigration solutions

As we head into 2012, our U.S. Congress continues to fail the American people as to immigration enforcement of our borders and enforcement as to our jobs.  Illegal aliens continue to work in excess of eight million U.S. jobs outside of agriculture with no internal enforcement from the Obama administration.

“2011 was a challenging year for the rule of law in America; nothing illustrates that better than President Obama’s immigration policies. During the past year, President Obama failed to secure our borders, continued to dismantle most interior enforcement and brazenly usurped Congressional authority by putting into place “backdoor amnesty” guidelines that stop the deportation of broad categories of illegal aliens – all while falsely claiming that enforcement has increased.

“Some states said enough is enough. Lawmakers in Alabama, Indiana, Georgia, South Carolina and Utah passed immigration enforcement bills to restore order, control costs and reduce crime but were instantly pounced upon by the Obama Department of Justice (DOJ) which filed lawsuits to prevent these policies from being implemented.

“These issues and many others carry forward, unresolved, into 2012. This year we’ll continue to provide you play-by-play coverage of the Obama administration’s dismantling of immigration enforcement. But, we’re also closely following the 2012 presidential candidates and we’re available upon request to offer engaging commentary on all aspects of immigration policy and discuss the role of these policies in the 2012 elections.”
