Reports of the Capture of 'El 20', another 'El Mayo' Zambada Security Chief

Early Thursday was arrested in Culiacan, Sinaloa, Jesus Peña, alias ‘El 20′, designated as the security chief of Ismael “El Mayo” Zambada , a leader of cártel del Pacífico

Semar confirmed the capture, during a joint operation conducted with the agency staff of the Attorney General’s Office (PGR), through the Bureau of Criminal Investigation.

“El 20” is also recognized as the plaza chief in the capital of Sinaloa , following the capture of José Rodrigo Arechiga Gamboa, ‘ “Chino anthrax”, on 2 January this year Amsterdam airport, in the Netherlands.

Sources of Federal Government Cabinet Security reported that the operation executed this morning, was at different points in Culiacán, and concluded with the utilization of arsenal and armored vehicles.

Since last week the staff of the Marina of Mexico and the AIC perform have piloted an operation in the capital of Sinaloa, with the objective of capturing “El Mayo” Zambada and Chapo Guzman.

On Thursday February 13^th Jesus Enrique Sandoval Romero, alias ‘El 19′ or ‘El Loco’ was capture, described by the government and Mexican media as another security chief of Zambada. “El 19” is being detained at the Federal Center for Social Rehabilitation (Cefereso) number 1 Altiplano, located in Almoloya, State of Mexico.
