According to data from the authorities, the municipal agents were carrying out prevention rounds through the rural area when they noticed a group of armed people who, upon seeing the security units, fled towards the mountains, initiating pursuit.

The detainees were booked with three long-range weapons for the exclusive use of the armed forces, consisting of two AK-47 rifles with their own loaded magazines and an AR-15 rifle with its magazine. In addition to 200 useful rounds for an AK-47 rifle, 12 magazines supplied for a ’cuerno de chivo’ with 30 rounds each, a magazine with a capacity of 50 rounds for the same rifle, three magazines for an AR-15 with a capacity of 30 rounds each and one more with a capacity for 60 bullets.
               
Also a magazine for a 38 super pistol, a 40 millimeter caliber grenade and 130 rounds for an AR-15, 300 grams of crystal meth and 32 plastic bags containing marijuana. The accused were transferred by the elements of the Municipal Police for legal registration and then placed at the disposal of the Federal Public Prosecutor attached to the subdelegation of the Attorney General’s Office (PGR), for the illegal possession of weapons and what may result.
