Navy captures cartel leader of Tlajomulco, Jalisco

The Chief of the Criminal Investigation Agency of the Attorney General office of the Republic, Omar Hamid García, announced the arrest of two individuals who are members of a cartel [CJNG] that operates in Jalisco, and who are designated as Chief of hitmen cells.

It was reported that it was the Secretariat of the Navy of Mexico and the Attorney General of the Republic, who detained two people, responsible for the distribution of narcotics, weapons and logistics.

In a first address located in the fractionation Hacienda Santa Cruz, Tlajomulco de Zúñiga, Juan Francisco “N” was captured, likely member of the criminal group and who is known to have served as head of a group of assassins.

Juan Francisco “N” recruited people at the service of the group, in order to keep the zones of Guadalajara and Tlajomulco de Zúñiga under control.

It is known that the recruited individuals are trained in the handling of weapons and operational tactics.

In a second search on the same day, of a building in Colonia Mezquitán, in the municipality of Guadalajara, Sergio Alan “N” was arrested, suspected of being in charge of safeguarding weapons and drugs at the service of the same criminal group, under the orders of Juan Francisco “N”.

At the time of the capture of Sergio Alan “N”, 18 long weapons, 13 short weapons, three grenade launchers, a Barret rifle known and approximately three thousand rounds of various calibres were secured; as well as marijuana packages, as well as synthetic drugs and methamphetamine.
