At least eight of the victims of the massacre in the Praderas de los Oasis subdivision were between 18 and 23 years old, the State Attorney General’s Office said.
All were strangled, one after the other, after being tortured, revealed the autopsy of the Forensic Medical Service.
Miriam Janeth López Contreras, 18; Julia Beatriz Nevárez Martínez, 20, and Marisol Terrones Meléndez, 22, were the three women murdered inside the house number 1201 of Oasis Street in Egypt.

The three women were searched by their relatives through social networks.
Their handcuffed bodies were left on the second floor of the property leased in the first days of July by Ricardo Hernández Cardiel, 23, who was also among the victims, the District Attorney for the Northern District, Jorge Arnaldo Nava López, announced.
They also identified Víctor Arturo Soto Calderón, 18; Carlos Iván Torres Sotelo, 21; Christian Iván Hernández Ontiveros, 19, and Christopher Daniel Jáuregui Escobedo, 19.
The prosecutor said yesterday that work continues on identifying the bodies of three more people.
The cause of death of the murdered people was suffocation by strangulation, according to the results of the necropsies performed during the early morning hours yesterday at the Forensic Medical Service, it was reported.
Doctors of the Semefo determined that none of the three victims of the female sex was sexually violated, as it was presumed to be preliminary. [this according to Mexican law, however they were violated by an object, that being a light bumb adapted for meth use]
The perpetrators used a rope to secure eight people in the lower part of the house and another rope with which they held three others in the upper floor.
With that rope they were strangled one by one, determined the necropsy.
The Prosecutor’s Office reported that no casings were located at the crime scene, but that within the investigation it is estimated that there were nine people who entered the house with small arms.
An investigating agent commented that the first line of investigation establishes that most of the murdered people were dedicated to the sale and consumption of glass and other toxic substances.
