Evo Morales, the first Indigenous person elected as a Latin American President, in the country of Bolivia,  protected  “El Chapito”, and even gave him the Legislative Assembly credential: so says Bolivian Minister.

Iván Guzmán Salazar, alias “El Chapito”, son of the boss Joaquín Archivaldo Guzmán Loera, “El Chapo”, former leader of the Sinaloa Cartel, received protection from former Bolivian President Evo Morales Ayma, according to the Bolivian government minister, Arturo Carlos Murillo Prijic.

Speaking to the local newspaper El Debe, he stressed that the administration of Evo Morales Ayma protected “El Chapito” in 2015, who studied aircraft piloting in Santa Cruz de la Sierra and enjoyed a credential to enter the Legislative Assembly.

The Bolivian federal official said that there are drug traffickers from Mexico and Brazil operating in his country, and that the Chapare region, identified with Evos Morales Ayma, currently in exile  in Mexico after what he claims was a military coup, manages $1.5 Billion dollars a year.
“The other day we found credentials of the Plurinational Legislative Assembly on behalf of the son of ‘El Chapo’ Guzmán. Credentials are provisional permits to enter the Assembly. The son of the leader of the Sinaloa Cartel was in Santa Cruz, came to study piloting, then disappeared, ”said interim president minister Jeanine Añez Chávez.
In addition, Murillo Prijic reported that there are 16 extradition requests from Brazil on charges of drug trafficking, which were ignored by the Foreign Ministry under Evo Morales Ayma. “It means that there was a government that protected drug trafficking. Little by little, all the masks will fall, ” he added.
“Any terrorist must spend the rest of his life in jail, any terrorist, Evo Morales or whoever. It is not about whether you are a former president, or black or white or a peasant, ”said the Bolivarian government minister, an opponent of the former president isolated in Mexico.
In addition, Murillo Prijic added that the events recorded in recent weeks in Bolivia, is due to the “despair” of drug traffickers instigated by the former president to go out to defend his business.
“All the movements are taking place, first by disinformation to the people that they are going to take away their cocaine, their house, is a great trigger for people to go out and block the drug out of drug trafficking and terrorism, led by Evo Morales, ” said the Bolivian federal official.

The minister validated an image disseminated on the internet that shows the supposed document that has the name of “Iván Archivaldo Guzmán Salazar”, allowing him to enter the legislature of the .

The alleged document has a Mexican passport number and was valid until December 30, 2016. However, Murillo Prijic did not mention what the son of “El Chapo” was like, nor how long he remained in that Andean country.
In 2015, the then Bolivian government minister, José Hugo Moldiz Mercado, reported that Jesús Alfredo Guzmán Salazar, “El Alfredillo”, another son of the Sinaloa kingpin, traveled to Santa Cruz in 2011, where he attended an aviation school and met with members of the Special Force to Combat Drug Trafficking (FELCN) “to do business”.
                                                           Alfredo and Iván Guzmán
Iván Archivaldo, 36 years old, is one of the four children that “El Chapo” had with Alejandrina María Salazar Hernández, first wife of the boss. “El Chapito” was arrested in 2005 in Zapopan, Jalisco, and held at the Federal Center for Social Readaptation (Cefereso) Number 1, La Palma, for alleged money laundering.
The then Attorney General’s Office (PGR) said that “the judge considered that the facts that were submitted to him considered the probable responsibility of Iván Archivaldo in the commission of the crime of operations with resources of illicit origin in the modalities of acquiring, deposit and invest for himself and an interposition person ”.
In 2008, the Federal Judicial Branch (PJF) released him, because the PGR could not prove that it was part of the structure of the Sinaloa Cartel. Later it was learned that Judge Jesús Guadalupe Luna Altamirano was suspended from his position, for “unusual bank movements for almost three million pesos,#3,000,000 Pesos and some of them in US dollars,” after describing the prosecutor’s accusations as unfounded, for different crimes, against “El Chapito”.
On August 15, 2016, Iván Archivaldo Guzmán Salazar was kidnapped along with his brother Jesús Alfredo, by alleged members of the Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel (CJNG), who deprived them of their freedom at the La Leche restaurant in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco.
Iván Archivaldo Guzmán Salazar was behind the armed attacks on security forces in Culiacán, Sinaloa, which led to the release of his younger brother, Ovidio Guzmán López, on October 18, following a failed federal operation.
According to Alfonso Durazo Montaño, head of the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC), “El Chapito” played a key role in the wave of violence and panic unleashed in the capital of Sinaloa following the capture of his relative. “[Iván] was one of the promoters of the mobilization of various members of the criminal organization in Culiacán,” said the federal official.
The United States Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) accused Ivan ,”El Chapito” of introducing large quantities of cocaine, heroin, methamphetamines and marijuana into the United States, through vehicles, trucks, boats and tunnels.
Guzmán Salazar, also known with the aliases of “Alejandro Cárdenas Salazar”, “César”, “Jorge”, or “Luis”, is indicated by the US Government to have laundered money obtained by the drug transfer.
The Office of Foreign Assets Control of the US Department of the Treasury (OFAC, for its acronym in English), reported that Iván Archivaldo and another of the children of “El Chapo”, Ovidio Guzmán López, aka “El Ratón”, are an active part of the drug trafficking network of the Sinaloa Cartel.
