Elements of the Secretariat of National Defense secured 12 thousand liters of hydrocarbon of illicit origin, in the municipality of Degollado.

The federal officers conducted a security and surveillance tour for the prevention and deterrence of crime on the Salamanca-Guadalajara pipeline, in the recreational park “Las Palmas”, in the municipality of Degollado.

During the inspection of the area, four clandestine hydrocarbon outlets were located.

A vehicle, four hoses and 15 containers with approximately 12,400 liters of hydrocarbons were found near the outlets.

No one was arrested in this action and the seizure was handed over to the Federal Public Prosecutor’s Office (MPF).

The Attorney General’s Office (FGR) initiated an investigation for the crimes provided for and sanctioned in the Federal Law to Prevent and Punish Crimes in Hydrocarbons Matters.
